Baja Outpost was hands down the best place we stayed while touring around Baja California. It has an effortlessly welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. A haven in which to eat, drink, converse and sleep in a lovely environment. We were lucky enough to be hosted by Leon who tirelessly provided us with advice on Loreto, Baja California and life in general!...

We were here for a total of 5 nights while touring Baja and loved the place. Leon is an excellent host with expert advice about anything you want to do in Baja. The social eating area is a neat place to hang out with it's indoor outdoor living. Would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

I Just returned home from a 30 day solo motorcycle trip around the Baja and some of the mainland. Stopped in Loreto on my way down and took Lonely Planets advice and stayed at the Baja Outpost. A good choice indeed. Had a great time and returned for 2 more nights on way way back north. Stayed in a beautiful...

Four of stayed at Baja Outpost in early October. We spent eight nights at the outpost and had a great time. Leon was a great host for sure. We had great meals during our stay, all prepared by Leon. I would stay there again for sure.leon was able to line up a great fishing guide for us and we caught...

My husband and I were little suspicious when our taxi driver could not find the Baja Outpost. They did not diminish as we entered the B&B as the economy has taken a toll and it is "unfinished". However, after six days under Leon's care my husband and I returned home from a vacation we will remember for a life time....

I read all the reviews on Senor Leon and Baja Outpost and while they aren't all fabulous, I was intrigued. Most people loved the location, but ,worried about superficial things. We booked and stayed fo 6 days in peak whale season early February. Travelled from Sydney Australia after seeing the close interaction with the Grey Whales on the Baja Peninsular...

We weren't exactly sure that the hotel was open when we arrived due to the construction and the closed gate. But after about 45 minutes Leon arrived and it all changed. While the hotel could use some updating (due to the economy ) the pool is not filled, but Leon more than makes up for it by his hospitality. We...

Came for a three-night stay on an Island off the coast of Loreto. After my severely delayed bus, Leon was so kind in his hospitality and flexibility and I had the most incredible time under his guide. The palapas are beautiful, and the place is right on the coast. Leon will make sure your stay is a memorable one, and...
