This B&B is wonderful. I very much enjoyed my stay at Casa Tuscany Inn with 3 of my best friends. Carol, our hostess, was very hospitable and a pleasure to talk with. She is very knowledgeable of the area and had many good suggestions for site seeing and places to dine. Our group split in two's and we shared two...

While staying in Cabo San Lucas for two weeks, we decided to take a day trip to LaPaz and wanted to spend the night. We found Casa Tuscany on Tripadvisor and due to the high rating, decided to book it. Since we were only staying one night we booked one of the smaller rooms. We were greeted by Carol, the...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. All feedback is important to the success of my business because it gives me the opportunity to make changes and improvements. Currently, the inn is undergoing many upgrades, e.g., new bathroom vanities, shower heads, faucets, and fresh paint. New mattresses are also in the budget. I find most people prefer...

My husband and I recently stayed at this exceptional retreat for 4 days. We stayed in the Romeo and Juliet suite. It was tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed. We really appreciated that after experiencing lumpy and hard beds elsewhere in Mexico. Romeo and Juliet came with three patios, one shaded for comfort and reading in the afternoons, one...

My Husband and I were in La paz last October, we arrived late, after a 24 hour flight from Sweden (total with layovers). Carol met us at the the front door when we arrived and made sure we had cold water in our room. We had also made last minute arrangements with Baja adventures for a day trip to Isla...

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our two-night stay at Casa Tuscany Inn in La Paz. It is centrally located, just two blocks from the waterfront. The garden and patio sitting areas are lovely, and wifi is available. And Carol, the innkeeper, is a wonderful host. She offered helpful recommendations for restaurants to try and sights to see in the city,...

I just returned from a solo trip to the Baja and found this wonderful B&B just off the Malecon that is close to everything. Carol is an amazing host with lots of great ideas about what to see and do. She even arranged a trip for me to Ispiritu Santo Island where I got to snorkel with the sea lions....

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Casa Tuscany. We even recommended it to my sister who has since visited and found it as delightful as we did. We loved all the birds in the courtyard, the convenience of the lacation, the recommended restaurant and the beautiful city of La Paz. We then went north to go whale watching and...

Casa Tuscany Inn is located in central LaPaz Mexico. It is very quaint and relaxing. The upper level room is spacious and sweet. The location of the Inn is very central and access to the City, Ocean and the attractions is very easy. We walked ever where! When we traveled outside the city we had a vehicle and a safe...

We opted for the expensive Romeo and Juliet room because of the private rooftop view of the Sea of Cortez it advertised. There was no such view, except through a small gap between equipment on other roofs, so we were disappointed. We weren't that impressed with the breakfasts, either. We enjoyed La Paz and the sea, but wouldn't stay at...

I am truely sorry that Casa Tuscany did not measure up to your standards. That can happen when we get a big build up. Sadly, we come with an expectaion that cannot be met. While the view from the roof terrace isn't unobstructed, there are in fact views of the sea from there. I am disappointed that you and your...

Easy to find, to park and warm welcome. Enchanting inside, haven for birds and travellers. Rooms colourful and comfortable with all that you could possibly need. Delicious breakfast on time as designated and unfussed clocking in and out.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Beyond the front gate and behind the walls of Casa Tuscany lies an inn reminiscent of a Tuscan villa. All guest rooms have private entry and open out onto a central courtyard where Costa's Hummingbirds rule. These friendly fliers are very curious and often buzz guests, especially if dressed in bright colors. The Malecon, or boardwalk, is only one block away and invites guests to stroll, bicycle, roller blade, or just sit on one of the many benches to watch the sea and the sunset. Casa Tuscany is close to just about everything in La Paz, encouraging visitors to get out there and experience the local culture without the encumbrance of a vehicle. Rooms are nicely appointed and all rates include taxes and a sumptuous breakfast. ... more   less
