This last spring, my family stayed at Casa Tuscany. Our hostess, Carol was warm and welcoming, fixed a killer breakfast, and directed us to some excellent restaurants, We also went on a whale shark adventure, on her recommendation, the high light of the trip! The rooms were clean and comfortable and open onto a lush courtyard. A great place to...

Dear Pokey, Having guests return to Casa Tuscany after an initial visit is a real high for me. It means people find the inn comfortable and welcoming. Thank you for visiting again and bringing your beautiful sisters. Lots of family fun I am sure. Yes, the Malecon is only a block away. Early morning walks are best, but it is...

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is good and breakfast interesting and tasty. Love the Guatemalan decor and garden. It was very safe with our own gate key to enter at will. Close enough to walk most anywhere.

The B&B was easy to find, in fact the Cabo airport shuttle dropped us off at her door. Carol was very welcoming and friendly. Lots of good tips for restaurants and touring. She was over and above very accommodating in helping with our boat and freighting items from our Mexico home to La Paz. She even contributed a few items...

Dear Amy, By now you must be trawling somewhere to the south of the Baja Peninsula. I hope you are catching lots of good fish and experiencing calm seas. It was a real pleasure meeting you and learning about your exciting adventures. I am delighted that the items you had shipped arrived in good order. It was stressful not being...

Dear Doreen, Thank you for choosing Casa Tuscany for your February visit to La Paz. Anything south of Anchorage, Alaska must be very appealing in the winter months. I hope that means a return visit to La Paz and to the inn next year. Thank you, too, for taking the time to share your positive comments on Trip Advisor. These...

Beautifully detailed. You believe you actually are in a Tuscan home. Comfortable. Carol is a sweetheart. We got the Romeo and Juliet suite, which I would recommend. There were four balconies adjacent to it, one with a view of the ocean.

Dear John, It was fun having the entire gang visit. I'm so glad you found the inn comfortable and welcoming. Yes, the Romeo & Juliet room is very special, and the upper deck is a great place to gather for a little sunset and cocktails. The view isn't spectacular, but still a great space to hang out in. Thank you...

If you're looking for a quiet getaway in La Paz, this is it - utterly charming, relaxing and close to the malecon. We stayed in the Romeo and Juliet suite. It's a lovely suite with several beautiful patios. The birds are happy here, too.- perfect in every way.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Beyond the front gate and behind the walls of Casa Tuscany lies an inn reminiscent of a Tuscan villa. All guest rooms have private entry and open out onto a central courtyard where Costa's Hummingbirds rule. These friendly fliers are very curious and often buzz guests, especially if dressed in bright colors. The Malecon, or boardwalk, is only one block away and invites guests to stroll, bicycle, roller blade, or just sit on one of the many benches to watch the sea and the sunset. Casa Tuscany is close to just about everything in La Paz, encouraging visitors to get out there and experience the local culture without the encumbrance of a vehicle. Rooms are nicely appointed and all rates include taxes and a sumptuous breakfast. ... more   less
