I can't say enough great things about Casabuena! Our family of 16 stayed there for 10 days for Christmas and New Years and we had the most amazing time. The owners, Milton and Susu, are so friendly and accommodating. We loved getting to know them and their children, Arthur and

I absolutely loved this hotel and it's owners! I stayed at the hotel for two nights but felt right at home, even in that short space of time. The rooms were clean and well-equipped and situated on a quiet street. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there

The location is a bit away from the centre (restaurants and attractions). Not a huge distance to walk but a night better take a taxi. This a very large compound with rooms around a central ‘palapa’ communal area. The owners purchased the property 20 years ago and it shows. The

A great place to stay if you're visiting La Paz! Susan and Milton were incredibly welcoming hosts. The rooms are spacious and clean and there's also a communal kitchen with drinking water and coffee! It's about a 30 minute walk to downtown and about a 10 minute drive. I

Are all the beds twin beds or are there doubles, queens, and kings?

We stayed at 3 places in February. We paid from $55 (US) at Casabuna to $129 at Club El Moro. I don't know if April is higher because of 'the season'. Hotels along the Malecon can be much more, but there are many good choices in town. Hope this helps.

"Pick a garden room if you want privacy; pick the room with a kitchen if you want space and your own cooking facilities."
"Book far enough ahead that you can ask Milton or SuSu which rooms have the better beds."
"Rooms with multiple beds and full kitchen available for families, solo rooms or for couples are $10 cheaper, great value for your money."
"I like the garden rooms best!"
"Meh - all had their merits... I stayed in 99 which is easy in/out and private since it's on the end. two beds with a separation wall so it's large and had new AC's was able to park in front of my room easily."
