Cute, clean and comfortable. This is a great place to stay during a trip to Ensenada. The bed was comfy and there was plenty of hot water. The pool was being resurfaced when we were there but it was too cold out for a swim anyway. The location is central in town so walking is easy. It’s a few blocks away from the major cruise ship and tourist areas, which made it a bit less congested than those areas. A few cute restaurants and cafes nearby, and the churro place attached to the hotel is great!
Great hotel, very pretty room with a definite Mexican feel to it, The whole hotel was spotlessly clean with lots of staff. The pool albeit a little cold was again a great area, very comfy loungers and pool are.
My wife and I had a great stay at Casa Del Sol. Very clean and spacious room. The staff was friendly and professional. The hotel is located right in the tourist zone so it was quick to get to everything. We will definitely return to this hotel.
Well, we lucked out as we were upgraded to t the suite despite paying for just a regular room. The room was nice. The let us check in early but when we got to the room they were making it, which was ok as we just wanted to leave our stuff and take off. The corner sofa did have some noticeable stains. The hotel advertises it has its own restaurant but it was a cafe-restaurant on the main tourist street with just a back door from the hotel. The pool is nice and clean. The biggest problem is parking as the main parking lot is a block away and definately a hassle if you want to take your luggage. We did find a left over soap in the shower. In the suite we had our own room router with no password with was really nice.
Myself and two friends stayed at the hotel after the Rosarito Playa to Ensenada bicycle ride in late September. I've stayed here before and have no major complaints except the attached upstairs bar has closed (that's another story - and not my fault by the way!). The place is clean and the rooms spacious and the location perfect for downtown activities. Parking is sparse, but there is additional parking down the street. Mexican sensibilities about service may not square with the American sensibility of being helped immediately. Clerks may not even recognize your existence if you are in line. But when it's your turn they will take care of you. Just relax, your turn is coming.
