Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Unsure exactly where to rate this, but we had an experience with the owners & proprietors where we did a personal meal with them, and they are simply the nicest, loveliest hosts. Next time we're in Valle, we're sleeping here no matter what.
Just amazing, great people. :)

Four of us stayed in the double queen room. Fernando was so accommodating, and was there tto get us checked in, even though we were early.
The location is fantastic, located on a windy road with multiple smaller vineyards close by. Lechuza, Finca Altozazo, Deckmans are about 15 minutes from Fernabella's. There is ample parking and a beautiful seating area outside with tables that have an ice trough in them to place cold beers.
The view of the vineyards with baby vines in just a few feet away.
Fernabella's is rustic charm, simple, just what you need to get some rest and relax while visiting Valle. The two beds were comfortable, there was a small table, which we only used for storage. Some bathroom with limited toiletries. Shower temperature was good, toilets worked fine.
Only complaint was that there was only 1 mirror and it was in the bathroom above the sink. If they put another full length mirror in the unit it would be great.
Fernando made our trip amazing. He came by to make sure we had what we needed, and brought us ice for our beers and made us feel welcome.
This is a great place to stay in Valle and I would stay again.

Fernabella's Lodge is a great place for a weekend getaway to the Baja California wine country. You will find yourself falling in love with the lodge and all its rustic charm and little quirks. However, a fancy hotel experience, this is not.

The room is fairly standard with a bed, bathroom, wardrobe, fans, and two chairs. There is no television or refrigerator but you will not find yourself missing them much. The rustic charm extends indoors with all the antiques that decorate the room and make it an inviting place to rest after a long day spent sampling wines and taking in all that the valley has to offer. We became rather friendly with the many, many little frogs that call the grounds home.

The lodge’s location was safe, secluded, and quiet but right on Ruta del Vino, making for convenient drives to the various wineries in the vicinity and a short, 30 minute drive into Ensenada. We did, however, experience some difficulty locating an ATM and quick breakfast options nearby.

Fernando and Anabella, our hosts, were so sweet, welcoming us as their second ever visitors. They were also helpful to us as we drove in from the border, giving us directions along the safest route to their location. What’s more, they were waiting to greet us when we arrived and filled us in about the property (used to run a restaurant on the grounds) and about the Valle de Guadalupe. Throughout the weekend, they answered all our questions promptly through text.

Muchas gracias Fernando and Anabella!
