We had a great stay here. For a inn in the small little village it's a beautiful place although we didn't eat here the food looked delicious. The landlord was very welcoming. Our room was tastefully decorated with a very comfy bed. It was a bonus having a old world bar downstairs. Watching sheep graze on the roadside outside of...

We stayed for three nights midweek and had a great time. The staff are friendly and helpful, we enjoyed lovely full English breakfasts and a delicious and varied evening menu. The bar is traditional, cosy and has a real log fire. Our room was clean and roomy with a nice bathroom, although it was a bit of a tight squeeze...

Super little place well worthy of a visit on the edge of the delightful Moors. Staff are friendly and accommodating, ambience was warm and cosy, bar well stocked and both dinner and breakfast good. The room was small but lacked nothing with tv and ample drink facilities with the kettle. Bathroom again small but clean and useable with a good...

We stayed overnight here with our dogs and found it to be welcoming. Our room was snug and spotlessly clean, the bar had a roaring fire and a great selection of beers and our dinner was absolutely delicious as well as being tremendous value. Breakfast the following morning was freshly cooked and plentiful. It must have been good - my...

Some cask beers but they were disappointing. However, there was quite a good feel to the pub and the food was good. It is just that there was no customer service. The staff seemed nice and friendly but just totally inattentive. One was sitting on a bar stool reading a paper. Maybe they were on a break – and they...

Having read good reviews whilst in the area we decided to eat at this dog friendly pub. On arrival we were surprised to only be offered a set menu of 2 or 3 courses by a young waitress.Having studied the menu on their website which was far more extensive we were disappointed. Not wanting to move on we chose our 2...

Our fourth visit to this wonderful pub. All standards remain high. The food is superb, there is real Yorkshire ale and the locals are more than happy to chat with you. Dogs abound! If you are staying for a night or two, the breakfast is freshly cooked and delicious. Don't be afraid to ask for something that is not on...

We have visited the Moors Inn several times, sometimes to stay and sometimes just for a meal. Our last visit was for lunch and we were very happy to see that the excellent welcome, food and service we have experienced in the past is still very much there, with some new members of staff this time - all in the...

During the break between Christmas & New year, we had the good fortune to enjoy an overnight stay at this delightful little inn. Roaring log fire, great food well prepared and served. Chatting to friendly locals and staff by the well stocked bar, the evening progressed in fine form.Until it was time to retire to our clean & well appointed...
