I really enjoyed my stay at the Buri Tara. The hotel staff were so kind and friendly. The room was very comfortable. It is in a very convenient location. A perfect place to stay for a budget vacation.

Having stayed at the hotel on several occasions over the past 5 years was very disappointed this visit. The front desk staff are excellent. It's a good location and a nice pool. Unfortunately the rooms suffered very badly from condensation making the tiled floor a danger to walk on. When trying to order room service was told they didn't speak... More

The pictures are very deceiving, the place looks bigger than it is. It's not in a great area, but is close to the boats that take you to the nice beaches. Price is right but our room and bathroom smelled like toilet water. The 15 Asian guests down the hall were incredibly rude/loud all day and night, and had kids... More

We booked the direct pool access room for 4 nights stay. We brought our own floats and left it at our balcony to dry after use. Unfortunately one of our doughnut float was stolen from our balcony. This hotel is not safe at all. And the receptionists are very rude. When we asked them about our pool float, this lady... More

This was the perfect hotel break after a long string of hostels. Jetstar lost our bags on our way to Krabi from Australia, and Buri Tara's staff went above and beyond to help us out. Such a friendly crew and if I'm ever back in town I'll definitely be staying here.

Stayed there with my boyfriend for 4 nights. The rooms were lovely, minimalist decor, very clean and with an extremely comfortable bed (had one of my best sleeps in thailand, after spending 6 months there). The breakfast buffet is excellent, delicious and with quite a good variety, surprisingly I might say. Definetly one of the best resorts I've chosen throughout... More

We just needed a clean inexpensive room for one night before we moved on to Phi Phi. My girlfriend and I arrived at the hotel after a $500 half hour ride from the Krabi airport. We were tired from a long day and we're looking forward to getting a good nights rest. I researched many hotels in ao nang and... More

A very pleasant, well-located hotel with spacious clean rooms and friendly welcoming staff. Scooter rental from the hotel is convenient and cheap (400 Baht for 24 hours). Day trips to the islands and on an Elephant Ride/Safari are an absolute must.

We didn't realise but this is quite a trek into the busier areas but Tuktuks here are reasonable, about 50bahts so it was fine. The staff here have really done a terrible job at maintaining and managing a fully functioning hotel. Staff regularly ignore guests or avoid them totally, really poor English spoken or understood and the hotel lacks any... More
