We went there s we were hungry and offered buffet dinner for 250B. The food was just bad. The salad bar had no sauce as they did not refill the sauce or te salads! Service was non existent. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HOLIDAY TIME OR MONEY HERE

Bernies Review Relatively cheap compared to the touristy and overpriced Ao Nang beach, this guesthouse is tucked away above a Thai/Dutch bakery. You even have to make your way through the kitchen to get to your room, which isn't half bad considering what the ladies are making always smells amazing! Most would shun at the state of the bathrooms, the...

The guesthouse is just 5 minutes walk from the beach. It pis also a nice bakery and restaurant with buffet at dinner time. The room was big with an extra bed and the double bed was huge and very comfy! It was hard to wake up in the morning. We share the toilet with other 3 rooms although I have...

We stayed here for one night in low season for 300 baht. Whilst this proce was low, there are many other places in Aonang for similar prices, which are far nicer. The room had mould everywhere and was very musty. Upon being shown the room, we tried to negotiate for another but the girl spoke almost no English. We tried...

We ate here twice. The guy outside doing the grilling was really friendly - the female 'waitresses', and we use the term very loosely, were more interested in playing on their phones an computers than greeting and serving customers. They were all very unfriendly - this was not 'the land of smiles' experience at all!

We stayed for just one night and we wanted something cheap. Bernie's was definitely cheap and it's easy to see why. The rooms are very basic- fan, beds, lock-box. Bathroom was shared down the hall and the drain didn't work very well so we had a couple inches of water in the whole bathroom after a shower which was pretty...

We came across this place whilst looking for a room. Although there was no room available, we noticed the sign for all you can eat buffet... 250bt meat and 150bt veggie. We thought nothing of this. Later when we were going towards the main food places, we noticed a delectable looking modest buffet. Upon closer look, the buffet was not...

I feel conflicted as I write this review because as the room was terrible, like really not great; on the other hand the staff were very pleasant as was the owner.. After a 40 hour trip from Chiang Mai I was desperate just to down bags and head straight for the beach. Found Bernies, it was cheap, maybe 300baht for...

Buffet is good. Some of the reviewers on here have apparently never eaten at a buffet and are unfamiliar with the concept. Enjoyed the buffet many times and will go again. Reasonable price and good selection of food. Thai and Western dishes. Grill station. Salads. Deserts. Not much more to add.
