We stayed here for 2 nights thank god it was not more, the staff not very friendly, the pool is poor and they put too much chlorine in so you couldn’t stay in for long as it made your eyes hurt, getting out you had to take a shower. There is constant noise all day from a building site next door which made it impossible to sit at the pool or even on the balcony as you couldn’t hear yourself talk to your partner. It’s up a steep hill and a long walk to the beach and restaurants. The room is ok but not worth the money we paid the best bit is the bed is comfy. The friendliest person was the cleaner. Avoid this hotel.

Stayed here with friends for a night whilst travelling around Thailand. The hotel and rooms are spotless and our room had amazing views across Krabi and down to the sea. We left wishing we had stayed for longer.

The hotel is up a steep slope from the street and in 36C is not pleasant. The rooms were spacious with water replenished daily with tea and coffee facilities (only enough for 1 cup per person a day). The hotel is about a 15 min walk to the not very nice beach although the hotel does provide a shuttle service. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Biggest complaint was the shower was heated by a small tank in the bathroom so the first person had to very quick so that the second person had a warm shower or wait until the water heated up again. Another problem is that there is a building site next door with very loud banging and drilling all day long which we were not told about.

We stayed at Krabi Cha-Da for 4 nights ..... to put it mildly it was a shocker.... not nice at all.... the photos on their page are misleading to put it mildly.... The room we stayed in, was supposed to be a “Deluxe Garden View” .... but instead our room looked onto the grey - unfriendly pool area from the 5th floor .... there was no “garden view” from our room at all & nothing about this room said “deluxe” to me? The pool area was extremely unsocial - & units looking onto the pool had the extra benefit of other guests swimming past their room & looking in.... The pool chlorine was permanently overpowering - so much so, that u get in & u get out right away to go shower - chlorine overkill! The pool is on the 2nd floor so there was no natural shade at the pool area except for the umbrellas..... so it’s hot hot hot and the cracking, paint patch mismatch grey cement look everywhere just adds to the mood kill The staff seem to avoid guests at all cost ..... they don’t greet - ever! They avoid eye contact and no one ever asks if you need anything nor checks if you are comfortable etc. we managed to have 3 conversations with the staff while we were there (and that was - us approaching them - not the other way around) - the staff are not friendly & we deff did not feel welcomed The entire hotel was dreary & very depressing- but the restaurant area was by far the worst of all. It was always very dark - with no natural light... It looked dirty & the food was always cold & tasted of old oil .... the only edible part of breakfast was toast & scrambled eggs/omelet... The overpowering food smell / old oil / fish smell coming from the restaurant kitchen hit you whenever you walked past... The rooms were similarly dreary. The decor old & ugly - they make no effort with prettying up the rooms when you arrive/check in - just a red cloth thrown over the bed .... it did not say honeymoon couple’s room at all! The lamp shade in the room reminded me of old underpants from the 70’s.... When I complained about the room & photos that don’t match the actual hotel .... on our 3rd day we received a fruit basket and flowers/pretty folded towels on our bed when we returned in the evening ... but it honestly was not going to make a difference to be depressing mood the hotel put us in... The shower looks like something from an ablution block.... made me think of camping.... shower heads were rusted & a small individual geyser of sorts under the basin provides your hot water The loo did not always flush properly.... there is no wash sprayer in the loo - so I’m not sure how you were meant to use the loo - as there are signs everywhere asking u not to flush toilet paper ..... do u clean your bum and throw that in the bin????? Yuck 🤢 Overall it was just so very disappointing, depressing & ugly Everything looked very low budget and shabby .... we tried to spend as little time as possible at the hotel and sadly could not wait to leave and go home! What a horrible end to an amazing tour of Thailand! (We also spent 5 nights at Patong - Sunset Beach Resort and 4 nights at Phi Phi Natural Reaort & we loved every minute!) Krabi Cha Da needs a serious make over or something .... I would not return to this hotel and I definitely won’t recommend it to anyone.
