I was looking for a camping spot for Christmas period , I didn't have much hope to find a availability but after calling the park directly I found powered site hooray!!

The service was very friendly and courteous no issues with that at all. we got map and instructions and found our spot quickly.

The holiday park itself is not too bad , it feels a bit crammed when you drive to your spot and lots of old ex-caravans converted to cabins.

The worst part about our experience which really spoiled our impression was the location of the site , I guess the management is after maximizing of the profits but the tent area is small and located along the fence under lots of big trees next to moderately busy road. we booked for 3 nights but could stay the 3rd one because we were just unable to sleep. it was hard for me to keep sleeping when I get car speeding by within 2 meters from my head every 10 minutes.
After the hard sleep at night from early morning there are also curious passers-by having their walk or walking the dogs that peek at your tent which made us feel really awkward . I would say instead of having a camping in the nature it was more of homeless experience. By the way thanks for sign "beware of falling branches" it does make you feel comfortable and safe sleeping in the tent under huge gum tree.

Now to the good sides. My children loved the pool and water playground with water slides is really awesome children can run there for hours and not get bored .

The amenities were reasonable clean and tidy the kitchen was very useful to us and not that busy at all.

There are 2 big toilet/showers buildings , with code access . They both have 2 hour closing time at the morning (different times) , the facility that is closed to tent area is being closed for cleaning 7-9am , I would say that's the time most people need it not big deal though the other one is another 50 meters walking.

Also the beach is close by can be accessed by walking.

We camped here for one night on their powered tent sites. Camp spots and little roads were a bit small, but we did have a ute + camper trailer in tow. Staff were very friendly, facilities were very clean, plenty of showers and toilets available, fun little water park for the kids (and adults) who want to enjoy the water slides and pool. This site is also less than 5 minute walk to the beach and lots of cafes within a few minutes walk around in case you wanted to go for a morning walk and get a coffee. There is an entertainment area with a table tennis table, TV and DVDs, a communal kitchen with a fridge, 2 cooktops and 2 ovens you are free to use. There are also a number of BBQ sites in the holiday park. We paid $38 for a camp site and think this is good value considering the cleanliness of facilities and location to where we live in Sydney. A little bit of a downside - the tent sites backs onto a very busy road and can get quite noisy with people walking and cars driving past. This wasn't really an issue for us as we are deep sleepers but may be an issue if you have kids or are with people who cannot sleep if noisy / wake easily. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay and we will be back!

We stayed for three nights in a beach cabin and while things were a little run down in regards to cupboards etc it was a great stay. While we didn’t use the bunks upstairs (both kids slept with us; which was pretty spacious despite the four of us in the same bed) we found it to be cozy, yet spacious. It was clean and tidy, with more then ample cooking utensils/equipment provided for us to eat in all three nights. Laminate flooring was a huge plus for us with our two year old (that on occasions likes to drop food) and made cleaning a breeze. Aircon was amazing for the crisp mornings, as was the beach sunrise view with a morning coffee. Staff were wonderful, supplied maps, codes and entries and exits to the park, and made us feel welcome on check in and appreciated upon check out. We enjoyed it so much that tried to come back and book another two nights after finding our next pit stop in shambles. Despite small superficial flaws it was a good time and we will have to visit again.

We were visiting family and had to stay close to where they lived. The Resort was excellent in all ways - location, price, staff attentiveness and friendliness, Our cabin was one of the twin ones and was beautifully presented and had the right amenities for a 5 night stay, a short walk to the beach and some fantastic scenery was outstanding and a 10 minute walk to the general store, coffee shops, pizzeria and fish and chippery was very handy. There were families staying and all were friendly too. It also was a blast from the past to see all the permanent weekender caravans on site, brought back childhood memories of holidays away.

Beachwalk Cabin 7 - lounge is seriously uncomfortable and only can fit 3 people, for a cabin that sleeps 6 people

Kitchen sink plug is too small, tap not secured properly and drawers hard to close.

Shower head falls down whilst showering, towel rail hanging off wall on one side and toilet roll holder not secured

Beds are ok, bit too firm and no quilt cover on bunk beds

Wifi provided - no access to free wifi and cabin itself does not get great service so even using hotspot wasn’t great at times.

Park itself is ok, waterpark and pool is great for kids. Amenities such as washing machines etc are excellent. Access to beach is simple and so close by. Entertainment in park is also great

Overall we had a great week there with lots of fun had by our family

We booked the beach boardwalk family cabins,
Meant to sleep 6.On booking in, we were met with a very hostile booking in person. She
Made our experience unpleasant
The upstairs had 2 bunk beds , squeezed into a very small space. No fans or A/C upstairs.Only 2 PowerPoints , making it difficult to charge appliances and hook a much
Needed fan up.Very tight fit, be careful if you have adult sized kids.
Only room on verandah for 2 people, we had no chairs, so had to stand. We were meant to get a mid week service, got it 2 days before we left .
The pool is not heated and gets very full if lots of people. The water park, which
Is 2 slides gets so congested, kids wait a long time .
The caravan park
Has no play ground , and there are nine near.
The beach is approx 200 m, but u need to cross a very busy road.
Look at other places before you book this one

Stayed in a cabin for 4 nights in December prior to Christmas and overall had a lovely visit. Due to unfortunate weather we spent a lot more time inside the cabin than we otherwise would have. The cabin was very clean and warm and while compact for 2 adults and grown children it had everything we needed. Very peaceful. Pool and water park and proximity to the beach was fabulous. The park is well presented with really nice garden beds throughout the park. Its clear a lot of care and attention goes into looking after the park. Thanks for a great stay 😀

The location is just about the only thing this place has going for it, short walk to the beach which is excellent. Cabins are run down without airconditioning in the rooms.. somewhat clean and the whole park is quite noisy during night time with people running and screaming most of the night.
For us it did the trick that we were close to the beach but not worth the $$$ (and i would not wanted to have to use the pull out couch)

Hi davidg777 Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent stay with us. We are pleased you enjoyed the location of the park; and recognise that when it is busy particularly in school holiday the park can be quite noisy, with families enjoying their holidays.

Stayed here over New Years for 5 nights in a beach walk cabin and loved it. Our cabin was right on the beach and we could even see a little bit of an ocean view!
Had a decent sized fridge/freezer, dining table, bathroom and lounge. Pantry, sink and microwave and one bedroom downstairs.
Upstairs has a room with a bunk and single bed.
It was a little dated but clean; I honestly didn’t mind.
Awesome louvre windows to really let the sea air in and an aircon if you prefer.
The highlight is the water park, 2 water slides and various other water play areas and a really large pool that is fully fenced.
The beach is literally across the road accessed by a coded gate.
Lots of cafes to walk to and the shopping centre is 1km away.
Free BBQs are also scattered around the park as well as bathrooms and laundry rooms etc

We visited as multiple families in September for a weekend. The cabin that we stayed in was unloved and poor quality. For example, there were multiple power sockets that didn't work, including in the kitchen. So we had to boil the kettle in the bedroom. But even in there only one bedroom socket worked, so one of the lamps also didn't work. The toilet roll holder was broken and kept falling off the wall, which was infuriating! There was a mouldy smell to the whole cabin that was extremely uncomfortable. It smelled like the cabin had been closed for weeks. The bunk beds upstairs were thin mattresses on wooden planks. Not even a proper bed base. Please spend some money on this cabin - it wouldn't even require that much but would greatly improve the comfort of your guests. The park itself was in ok condition, having a food truck onsite is genius! The customer service of the food truck staff was wonderful, and the food was delicious. We loved the park slide and water park, even the adults had a few turns. The park is in fantastic proximity to the beach and golf course. Overall a great stay and we would return but only to a different cabin. Thank you!
