We stayed on a power site in our tent as we wanted to charge up all our phones and fridge.. Not a great deal of room with caravans around us right next to the washing line and shower block. But it was OK. Seemed a fairly large park. Prime camping spot appeared to be right in front of the beach...

I've been on unpowered site in July and it was very crowded place. They have not enought showers for so many people. Beach is so so. Unfortunatelly there is no other choice in Weipa. AU$30 per 2 people per night unpowered is a little bit too expensive.

The villas are setup well. They have a kitchenette and shower with washer dryer. The four single beds were placed around the edges, providing ample space. Sunsets were the absolute centre-piece of this park. Each day is different and the sight is awesome to watch, particularly if you're not used to watching sunset occur, over water.

This was a return trip but many many years between trips. Sorry to say this park hasn't changed in all that time apart from a camp kitchen with a dirt floor. (Not once leaves blown or raked out) This time of year a lot quieter than the last time so space was not an issue. The reception staff were pleasant....

Well we have stayed here twice now and have the same impression both times it feels like your squished in like sardines the sites are hard to read especially in the middle section but the main thing is the amenities are clean and tidy

Stayed here with friends and family. Pool was great for the little ones and the sunset was magic. Roomy sites for camper trailer and tents. Shade at our site was a welcome reprieve from the heat. Close to woolies which was great for restocking supplies.

Our family (2 adults, 1 preppie, 1 toddler and a baby) stayed for two nights here with a group. We had a row of campsites together one back from the beachfront. Cannot speak highly enough about the facilities and the actual campground! Gorgeous sunsets, very yummy meals (and milkshakes!) from Barramunchies, fantastic green grass and shady trees for our tent...

Met by Rochelle at reception - what a lovely friendly girl, explained everything to us, talk about quality staff! We stayed 3 nights in camper van on powered site. Sites are 10m X 10m, really large grassy sites with lovely big shade trees. Amenities are great & clean $5 for washing machines. There is a beautiful pool- what's bonus -...

A great park, good facilities, friendly staff, water tastes great, supermarket (Woolys) ....all services that you need out here. Big sites, busy but still comfortable. Take a glass of whatever you are drinking and head to the beach at sunset...perfect ending to the day. Fresh water, laundry and dump point for those heading north or south. We really liked this...
