We have been to lago camp several times with our small camper van and always loved it as it's not as big as most campsites around Italy. Really nice small, personal site right on the lake with friendly, helpful staff and very reasonably priced. We went back last week for the first time after the renovations and were even more impressed. New sanitary facilities completed to a very high standard with a really sweet little shower room and toilet for kids. They have also created two new playparks for kids which have also been thoughtfully completed to a very high standard. Perfect campsite for families and couples who don't need the all inclusive style sites with Segways/Submarine rides/ mickey mouse shows etc. Nice pitches in the shade of trees for campers and caravans, tents already pitched to rent and a few holiday apartments too. They offer e-bike rental, stand up paddle board rental and have a small mini market and cafe offering coffees/drinks and ice creams. Supermarket less than 10 minutes walk and restaurants/Cafe's all close by. Highly recommended. Stay exactly as you are Lago camp!

Top campsite right on the lake. Quiet location. Very clean and new sanitary facilities. Great friendly helpful staff. There is a restaurant near the campsite with very good Italian cuisine. We will definitely come back.

We hold our family reunion every two years at this cozy campsite. This year was no different and it was like coming home again. The camp is run and maintained with great care and attention. The sanitary facilities are always super clean. There is a nice bar, bread roll service, sports equipment rental and much more (best to read about it on the detailed website!). But the best thing of all are the brand new mobile homes with covered terraces and top equipment! We really enjoyed this luxury. The location of the site directly on the lake with separate access is excellent. The whole area is perfect for hiking, swimming, boating, shopping and strolling. Thank you to all the staff for their friendliness and their good work. I would only advise people who are generally disturbed by children and/or dogs playing not to stop here. But that can't change our rating at all. :-)

Great location on the lake.

This is our third time here. It is clean, the staff are open-minded and very friendly. There is a lot to do. Big negative point: the disco in town is extremely loud from Friday to Saturday until the morning, so you can't sleep, which really reduces your chances of relaxing.

Very nice campsite right on the lake. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. The reception there was very friendly and our pitch was free when we arrived. There is only one water tap on the site. Otherwise you have to get water from the sanitary building. The paths are very narrow, which makes arriving with a caravan a little difficult. You have to be very careful. Overall it is very narrow. You are compensated by the beautiful beach. With a wonderful view of the mountains all around.

We had a wonderful holiday at Lagocamp. We were right on the lake, spot 64. There is a fence between your spot and the lake. What we personally like, so that not everyone walks past your tent to walk to the lake. And it was convenient to dry the towels on it. The place itself is not big, but that is often the case in Italy. The sanitary building is very well maintained. It is neatly cleaned several times a day. I haven't seen anything dirty once. It is wonderful to swim or SUP on the lake. The children spent hours building dams. The campsite organizes a pleasant music evening about once a week. The campsite employees are extremely friendly and are always ready to help you. Really full praise for this campsite. And I haven't even mentioned the surroundings yet. How beautiful the surroundings of Lake Maggiore are!
