I went with my family about a month ago and venice was our first stop. We wanted to find something affordable and found the Bacchus Venice Residence. First impressions were not bad could have been better. Location is pretty good your not right in the center where it is congested with people, but I have to say you have to search for the street we had to ask a couple of people because we couldn't find it simply because it was down a tight alley way. At first I was like what the .... but it was fine. There are couple of stairs to climb to get to the apartment, but not bad. Overall not bad considering venice is pretty expensive near the center (which by the way should be considered when deciding to stay in Venice because it can get costly taking a water taxi everywhere or to get to the center if your outside the center). The rooms were good. There were two rooms plus a sofa bed (which is in the kitchen) I didn't mind this though. I can't speak for everyone else cause I slept on the sofa bed, but the bed was decent ( I shared the apartment with 5 other people). The pillows were a bit lumpy/ soft. They had a kitchen that is fully functional, but we didn't use it we ate out. We had a minor issue with the air conditioner it was leaking, but we called the handy man and he came right away so that was good. Also I have to say the ladies that take care of the place are super nice and friendly; it was an easy check in. So, basically overall I would say it was a good stay; clean, decent size, and comfortable. If I was going to Venice again I would consider going to the Bacchus residence again.…
