Love this place. I feel like I've been transported to another world. The gardens are beautiful and the rooms quaint & lovely. I can't really understand why anyone would want to stay in the hustle bustle of town or the larger hotels when this place is available. Oh and afternoon tea? Deeelishus

We stayed in the hotel for one night on a week day. The place was not busy. We were first given a small room; realizing that the occupancy of the hotel was just my friend and I and just 2 others we asked for another room. The room was much better. So bed time comes .... 1) No hot water...

Planters Cottage/Bala' Chalet is a charming place. The property itself is quite relaxing as it is surrounded with gardens/green foliage. It has an English Cottage feel to it; an old-world charm. The rooms were decent sized but it could get cold at night. We ate out most of the times as we wanted to try out the various food options...

This is a charming 3 star property that's had a recent refurb. We booked 3 rooms. If you are looking for a hotel to sit outdoors and soak up the gardens and views - go no further. Asian guests will enjoy the old English charm - Europeans less so. It will remind them too much of home. Our suggestion for...

This is a really old English style cottage. Amazing property, lovely surroundings. A nice getaway for City folks. We stayed at a huge family suites with 2 doublebed on the 1st floor. My daughter loves it! Just like staying in one of the cottage in Enid Bytons book!

My family of three spent a night in this cozy English- styled lodging in a clean and tidy suite with a loft. Our stay did not come with breakfast or dinner but it was just as convenient to take the meals from the in-house restaurant which we did. We had a delicious dinner of lamb-chops that came with a tasty...

This boutique hotel is amazing. The moment you step inside its lobby you know you are in for a treat. As you walk into the dining rooms, the old charm grips you and want to see more. As you walk across into the gardens it reminded me of the Inkaterra resort on the way to Machu Pichu! The stress of...

I had mixed expectations about this place judging from the several bad reviews. Upon arrival and even throughout the weekend that I was there, I realised that the people who gave the bad review either had their expectations set too high or they're just not used to life's simple pleasures. The whole place has an air of tranquility and peace....

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. It was truly pleasure to have you stay with us. It is encouraging to know that some people don't just rely on reviews to make their decisions but instead come to check the place out for themselves. We are in the process of rectifying the hot water problem. it gets like that...

Nice place with good staff. Room is cozy and English style. Big room good for family outing. Food is so so. The scone is their delicacy and should try it out. Restaurant decorated nicely for romantic dinner. Morning is good to have outdoor breakfast dining.
