The rooms were so beautiful, hidden away in the quiet gardens. I especially enjoyed my bike ride around the area through the rice fields and complimentary yoga classes 3 days a week. The staff were very helpful and polite.

We stayed at both Khanda Kanda and their newly opened sister hotel KK beach over the christmas break and I can only describe both stays as a little slice of heaven. Both are stunning in design and offer you the space to toally relax and unwind. No request is too much and the staff are utterly charming and will do...

Beautiful hotel, the staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. No request was too big or small. There was something for every member of the family from pool, gym and yoga to external activities sun loungers and spa. The food was also delicious, not only the Sri Lankan food but also the Western options too. Beautiful setting and...

Beautiful hotel set in lush surroundings, amongst tea plantations. The views are simply stunning. Local food options are of quality. Rooms are basically sizeable bungalows with a large balcony. Beware though of creepy crawlies as the room doors and windows are not appropriately sealed. Also, soundproofing is poor which means that at night you will be hearing all sorts of...

Dear Jay Thank you for coming to stay at KK, and for making the effort to write a review. Yes I agree the peacocks and monkeys do tend to be a little noisy, but then again, we are located in the jungle! On a more serious note, I am extremely sorry that you felt the room was not as clean...

Peaceful pleace with beautiful view. Best place on all our trip. Was here for lunch but wanted to stay hours and just hang out due to the ambience. We ate the tuna which was the best ive had anywhere.

Although we didn't stay at this hotel we did have a delicious lunch here in their restaurant after our tour of the Cinnamon Plantation. There is a very comfortable open lounge and bar to sit and sip a gin and tonic while admiring the scenery of the valley below. Lunch was out on the verandah over looking the same views....

We have just returned from the wonderful country of Sri Lanka, and our highlight was getting married and thankfully we chose the Kahanda Kanda. We stayed in the hibiscus suite, which was amazing and we didn't really leave our private mini villa with an infinity pool. The staff are amazing and make your stay wonderful, the food is the best...

Dear Daniel Thank you for taking the time to write a review and for your kind comments. The reason you were allocated the Tea Suite is because this is what your agent booked. We then upgraded you to the Nelum Suite - at no extra cost to you - because of your comments regarding the outdoor shower. We were more...

We loved our stay in the Dobu suite at Kannada Kanda. This is an incredible room that is difficult to leave. A fantastic space to soak in the beauty and color of the Sri Lankan jungle. The room was very large with 3 bathroom areas, both indoor and outdoor. From our patio we overlooked peakcocks, monkeys, many species of birds,...

I had a wonderful visit for a few days in this gem of a hotel...Nestled in the hills surrounded by abundant greenery and gorgeous views...So much wildlife; birds, monkeys and peacocks and lizards..They organized a bike ride down to the coast through cinnamon groves and rice paddies. Staff were attentive and polite... I had a wonderful deep tissue massage..All in...
