We recently had a memorable vacation at the Fiyavalhu Resort Maldives and I only had a positive experience!

From the very beginning, we were met by friendly staff who immediately created an atmosphere of comfort and care. The room was spacious and well decorated.

The beach and the surroundings were just amazing. The snow-white sand and clear water provided ideal conditions for swimming and snorkelling. The reefs near the hotel are full of vibrant marine life.

The culinary experience was also high. Restaurants offered a varied menu with local and international dishes. Especially remembered was the seafood dinner, which was fresh and delicious.

The hotel service was perfect. The staff was always ready to help and make our holiday as comfortable as possible.Dilip performs his duties very well, always cleaned our room very pleasantly.

I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty of the Maldives and have an unforgettable experience. We're already dreaming of coming back!

This was our best vacation ever!

We stayed at Fiyavalhu with our family of five, and everyone was happy! Each of us had our own impressions and joys.

Let me start with the warm welcome we received – a fresh coconut drink and traditional drums that made even the most tired traveler smile.

Our room had a stunning sea view, with huge transparent windows and an adjoining room for our children, which also had two showers just like ours. In front of the room, there were sun loungers where we could sunbathe or watch the starry sky in the evening. Our room was cleaned perfectly every day – a big thank you for that!

The food was varied and of high quality, and the staff was very friendly and pleasant. On our son’s birthday, they surprised us with a cake, which made it feel so homely and warm.

The hotel is located on an island that feels almost uninhabited. No matter how many guests were staying, it never felt crowded – it was as if we had the place to ourselves.

Everything in the hotel is designed for the guests’ comfort. There were even books in multiple languages at the reception, which was a lovely touch.

The sea was crystal clear, and the beach was beautiful. Every evening, we would visit the pier to see the fish – it was truly magical. This is an amazing hotel in a wonderful country! We fell in love with this place with all our hearts.

Thank you for your hard work!

P.S. Special thanks to the manager who arranged the most convenient internal flight connections for us.

Dear Sardees, Thank you for sharing such a heartwarming review of your stay at Fiyavalhu Resort Maldives! We are truly honored to have been part of your best vacation ever and delighted to know that your entire family of five had a wonderful time with us. Your kind words about the warm welcome with a fresh coconut drink and traditional drums bring a smile to our faces—it is always our goal to make every guest feel instantly at home. We are also thrilled that you enjoyed your stunning sea-view room, complete with spacious windows, sun loungers, and thoughtful amenities for your family’s comfort. It is fantastic to hear that our culinary offerings met your expectations and that our friendly staff made your dining experiences even more enjoyable. The birthday cake surprise for your son was our pleasure—we love making special moments even more memorable! We could not agree more about the island’s serene atmosphere. Despite being a resort, it truly feels like a hidden paradise, offering guests the perfect balance of privacy and tranquility. It is wonderful to know that you enjoyed stargazing, exploring the pier, and experiencing the crystal-clear waters and breathtaking beaches. A special thank you for recognizing our team’s dedication, including the manager who arranged seamless flight connections for you. We will be sure to pass along your appreciation! It means the world to us that you fell in love with Fiyavalhu, and we cannot wait to welcome you back for another unforgettable stay in paradise. Warm regards, Ahmed Rizleen | Executive Assistant Manager Fiyavalhu Resort Maldives

It was our honeymoon there. Staff were meeting us with drums and coconut for drinking. We can note the good service here. Staff is very professional and friendly. During our being in hotel our personal manager Hasan Didi helped us every day (and even at night) and was ready to solve all our problems like things, medicaments, information and many others. Special thanks to the staff of the diving center of the hotel, especially the instructor Aisha, for the good time spent on and in the water. There are many activities in the hotel. We tried snorkeling with turtles and mantas, kayaking, sub board, sunset fishing, we saw dolphins. The hotel also has evening activities - karaoke, cinema evening and others. We also recommend trying a romantic dinner near the sea. It very cool. There are very beautiful views of Mandhoo, especially we advise you to admire the sunset from the sea (from a boat, for example).
There is a chill place - riya cafe. We spent much time there. There were billiards, chess, badminton, ping pong, jenga. There is also a paid spa with various types of massages and beauty treatments. Especially we liked the pool overlooking the sea.
As for housing, we had a Garden Deluxe villa of 60 sq. m. The villa has good air conditioning, cleaning twice a day, there is a faucet at the entrance to the villa to wash your feet from the sand. However, we were not pleased that we could smell burning several times a day in the garden next to the villas (perhaps they "recycle garbage" there). Another important disadvantage was the baiting of insects without warning people from the hotel staff. It was unpleasant to "enjoy" such chemical aromas when you are on vacation.
And yet, one of the biggest advantages of the hotel is the friendliness and professionalism of the staff.

Hotos do not correspond to reality

We spent the holidays and New Year's Eve on the island of Fiyavalhu and stayed in a garden villa. We were warmly welcomed. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were superficially cleaned twice a day.

We arrived with the Seaplan on 23.12.24 at 19.00 in the evening.

But the 1. Surprise came the night before when we paid the flight transfer fees, the 3rd. Extra bed and the cost of Christmas and New Year's dinner had to pay in advance.

We explained that we had made a deposit and wanted to pay the rest on arrival. In hindsight, I know why, and recommend that everyone not do so.

When we arrived, we were shown the reception, restaurant, swimming pool and beach (catastrophic condition).

It wasn't until the next morning that we realized where we had actually landed.

“Photos don’t match reality”

The hotel images of the outdoor area and facilities on the hotel's own homepage and on various platforms do not correspond to reality. The entire beach is littered with garbage and sandbags, which is also part of a hotel's responsibility to maintain and keep the outdoor area in shape, and there was a fight every morning for the loungers as the hotel is designed for about 80 people. It is therefore the responsibility of the hotel to provide umbrellas and sunbeds for guests. There are not enough umbrellas and sunbeds in the complex. Unfortunately, I personally have not read all reviews.

However, this issue has already been mentioned by various visitors in 2022.

Children and the elderly are exposed to the sun all day (health risk). In a 4-star hotel Fiyavalhu in the Maldives, you have 3 options. Fight for a sun lounger every morning, lie in the sun all day or spend the whole day in the tropical forest.

I think the price/performance ratio is disproportionate (and rather negative)

The swimming pool is not a 4-star resort. The hotel is very skilful and photographs the entire pool area from the bar/restaurant. On the homepage and on various platforms, the pool is shown from above with a beautiful sandy beach.

Photoshop allows you to make any image look beautiful.

This is my personal, subjective opinion, everyone can draw their own conclusions from it. I am surprised that the resort uses edited images, and even more so that third-party platforms do not carry out random checks.
So my tip is to always keep your eyes open:

Awesome service. Huge rooms (no more beds, there is a sofa and a huge bathroom), very good cleaning, clean 2 times a day. Dileep cleaned our villa. Always friendly, perfectly made bed, 3 large bottles of water, tea, coffee. All the staff say hello and smile, always ready to help. Guests are few and far more frequent than theirs. The beach often bathed alone. The water is clean, turquoise, the entrance to the beach is not very good, you have to follow the washed roots of palm trees. The infrastructure is good, there is billiards, ping-pong, volleyball, hall. We only took breakfast, the choice is medium, tastes very good. On the territory there is a cafe, the prices are not low, but also the portions are huge and very delicious - worth it (photo attached). Tours are available, expensive, but few people, so they turn out to be personal. On the other side of the island live locals, there are 2 small shops and cafes where there are only 4 cakes on the menu.

The beach is medium, but the service was more than satisfied.

The resort is butiful with an amazing garden and forest. The rooms and view from it was fantastic. The room was big with terrace and with spacious bathroom and toalett. Bed was also confortable.
We were satisfied with kind stuff.
Unfortunately, the island is so pure and dirty outside of the resort without anything what you should see.
The seaplane transport was $390/person from the airport to the resort.
The welcoming was fantastic, with a drummer local guy and we gut a coconut drink immediately at the reception.
The bar and minibar and other servicies are expensive. They give you only 0,7l drinking water/day into te room but you can buy more.
We were satisfied also with the foods, but it could be more varies.
The nature around the island is amazing with olourfull fish. If you are luck you can see also rays, sharks and turtles.
There were not any night or morning activities in the hotel. For most of the kids could be boring, especially for standard teenagers. It is the island of the calm resting.

It was a wonderful experience, the welcoming staff, the very professional and competent snorkeling and diving centre, the service and the excellent lunches and dinners. The buffet selection is very local but good and healthy. The cleaning of the rooms (twice a day) is impeccable and the mosquito control is the best that can be done. I recommend trying it.

Dream holiday in Fiyavalhu for our 3rd time in Maldives with everything to feel good about:
- Small hotel very quiet and ideal to recharge and rest
The island is rich in greenery, palm trees, flowers,...
- We had the Beach villa: the room is large, modern with incredible bedding (king-size bed), a large functional bathroom and an efficient but discreet air conditioning. Large private terrace in front of the bedroom with table chairs, deckchairs and a few steps from the ocean
- The hotel provides the spray/mosquito repellent cream which is very nice and fills every day the mini-bar of the room with coca, fanta, pringles, peanuts,... (all is offered) which is top
- Room cleaned 2x per day and high quality cleaning with attention, which is very nice
Fabulous and varied buffet with fresh produce, it is almost semi-gastro. And what class when the cook cook cooks the meat with plancha and brings it to you at the table, it is the privilege of a small hotel
The beach is short but beautiful. On the other hand there is no lagoon like in other hotels so we quickly find ourselves without touching the bottom, the ocean can be a little more rough and you have to swim further to see the fish (but we have not seen sharks or rays that tend to come in the lagoons instead)
- Only downside: Halal hotel without alcohol so to drink a glass of alcohol you have to go on a yacht a few meters from the island but it did not bother us

Hello! I am Sofia, in the beginning of June i stayed at Fiyavalhu resort Maldives. Weird experience …
The beach line has been eroded by the ocean. Lots of big stones at the shore which might easily hurt your feet and legs, the staff is trying to strengthen the sand shore with bags of sand but it doesn’t help really. These bags ruin the ocean scenery and look terrifying. Lots of garbage at the beach - empty bottles and other stuff thrown from the ocean. None is cleaning…
There is not any good area for swimming except the part from the pier to the first ocean stone divider. Other areas are full of giant reefs with no possibility to step into the water comfortably. The pier is placed close to a village’s pier from where village’s boats depart very frequently pouring oil in the water and polluting the fresh air…
The housekeeping is of a very good quality. No issues with this. Well done, guys! The rooms and villas are good.
The food is poor. The fruit variety is ridiculous for Maldives. No fruit except seldom rotten pineapple, weird apples, oranges. Bakery isn’t fresh, some times was fresh juices. Dinner is a level of a 2 or 3 star hotel in Turkey.
However the restaurant’s staff is nice and kind.
Every day the hotel performs an anti mosquito procedure lasting for 1 hour! What a catastrophe! They are pouring in the air terrible smog which can easily cause allergy and headache, it doesn’t help though… The mosquitos didn’t disappear… If you don’t bring extra fumigators with yourself, you’ll hardly find healthy skin on your body after first night already.
The pool is ok,the gym is good. The bar at the pool and the bar’s staff are nice!
I lived at beach villa, the villa itself was fine but the situation is disappointing. Beach villas are situated in one row one after another so guests from other villas will pass by your villa many times per day. No personal freedom and intimacy.
There is also a karaoke fun after dinner. The hotel suggests to guests to sing in Karaoke at 11pm while some guests might be already sleeping. The karaoke is situated in a pool bar which is close to luxe villas, deluxe villas and beach villas. Why should i listen to smb’s howls while sleeping? I guess the hotel should understand that in order to entertain certain guests they must also care about the comfort of other guests…

The Visit was Excellent. All the staff were very friendly. Our designated staff member was Hassan Didi, who was excellent and always available when needed. There are a couple of points to be improved:
1) The pool needs to be cleaned everyday during the room service
2)The internet(Wifi) was out/very slow for almost 2 days. An alternative in the case of such problems should be available.
3) The prices of the drinks and the snacks were way too high. I ate a very small ( bite size)cheese cake for almost 20 $. These prices or the portions need to be revised.
