Just had a wonderful break at Fyfield Manor. Christine the host was very interesting with a real passion for her excellent and historical property. We stayed in "The Playroom". The whole experience was so good. We will have to repeat it soon. The breakfasts were superb and wholesome. Nothing was too much trouble. Christine and her family have really transformed...

I am glad you enjoyed staying in the playroom (the old nursery) which is also the room I use when families stay. We are about to start to restore the dovecote in the rear of the grounds so hopefully you might visit us again. It was a pleasure to meet you. Christine

We have stayed for a few nights in the cottage and then in the main manor! Beautiful place to stay and friendly and helpful staff!! Would definitely stay at Fyfield manor again! Much better than other b&bs in the area!

I stayed at Fyfield with my sister and my mum for 3 nights in December - it was a birthday treat for mum and we were not disappointed. We arrived slightly late on the Friday but Christine was on hand to show us to our rooms which were a wow factor - they were lovely big warm rooms with plenty...

Thank you for your positive review and I am so glad your mum enjoyed her birthday surprise. Also thank you for your feed back and suggestions. As you point out all the rooms are very different and have their strengths (and weaknesses) so I would recommend before booking to check out my web site which gives a very detailed description...

Christine was so helpful and hospitable. We had complimentary chocolates on our (rather late) arrival. Really lovely furnishings and nice and warm. Bed comfortable. Food very tasty and plentiful. Lots of attention to detail. Wish we had had longer to look around. Would recommend.

We spent 2 nights at Fyfield Manor in August 2014. Tucked away near Benson in Oxfordshire, one steps into a different world. The rather stark mid-nineteenth century façade of the main building hides a place of history and charm. A wooden staircase led up to our large room called The Nursery which has a 20th century fully-fitted dolls house and...

I stayed recently on a 3-night work trip and was delighted to return each evening to a beautiful manor house where I felt utterly relaxed. Christine has thought of everything - tasteful, historic rooms with modern facilities; lovely products in the bathrooms; recommendations of good places to eat and, of course, a delicious healthy breakfast. The complete antidote to the...

This B and B is lovely. Friendly and homely yet still rather grand and a bit of a special-looking place. It is rather close to the RAF base but there weren't too many take-off and landings during my stay. Breakfast was amazing with a really good selection of vegan foods being offered, including CHIA seeds to enhance ENDURANCE! We were...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and for the kind and positive comments. Hopefully the chia seeds gave you the extra energy to complete your cycle ride! I am glad the helicopters did not detract from your enjoyment. For anyone reading this, over the weekends (Friday , Saturday and Sunday nights ) there is no military...

Thank you for your hospitality, we had a wonderful two night stay. Wow what a fantastic Manor, feels like going back in time, a truly unique B&B. We loved sitting in the garden under the trees next to the stream, so peaceful. Delicious breakfast, we ate like kings and queens in the beautiful dining room. Thank you for your kindness...

I recently used the Fyfield Manor for some filming and it did not disappoint. The manor is stunning both inside and out and looked beautiful on camera. The gardens are beautifully kept with a babbling stream and amazing views of the manor creating a sense of tranquility. Inside the house is sympathetic to the era (one of the doorways is...

My wife and I stayed in the Cloisters, a two bedroom self-catering, open plan apartment, attached to the main house. It is lovely and fitted out to a high standard.
