We arrived by motorcycle dripping wet and tired, but luckily this didn't deter the owner's from allowing us to stay in their lovely home. Our biking kit was soon drying near the aga and we were ensconced in a elegant, spacious double room. The owners were very helpful and friendly and we had breakfast in the kitchen with them followed... More

We love to stay in Manor House when coming home to Ireland. This is a really interesting property. The family are really friendly. Good hearty breakfast served in the morning to cope with any alcohol consumption the night before.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful home!!! The hosts were just fantastic and nothing was too much trouble! The room we stayed in was a double with ensuite and two extra beds for our daughters, the room was so spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was something special as you felt like family rather than guests all sat round a... More

We stayed in a twin room in this period house, overlooking the old courtyard. The room was beautifully decorated in keeping with the original features. The bathroom is wonderfully quirky, with hints of Beatrix Potter. Breakfast cooked by our friendly hosts at our preferred time. Our second time to stay here, and we highly recommend it.

Stayed for 5 nights 7-12 august 2014--the host allister carried the suitcase to the bedroom which was a good start. The room was large and en suite--everything was dated but not a problem as it was in keeping with the property. We all want clean premises with a good breakfast and thats exactly what you got--throw in two very nice... More

We stayed at the Manor House for one night in September 2013. We had followed the accommodation sign from the A2 and found the house facing us at the T-junction as we entered Eglinton looking exactly what we wanted; a touch of relaxed, elegant living after a long journey. We were lucky enough to be offered a very large, comfortable... More

Our one-night stay in this historic house was delightful. The double room was elegant and spacious and It was a pleasure to have a substantial Irish breakfast in the fine dining room. Alistair was a good host and even joined us for breakfast conversation. The front gate did stick a bit but we were resourceful enough to use the side... More

We saw the Manor House driving by and wanted to inquire for a room, but we couldn't get to the doorbell because the garden gate was closed. We couldn't see a phone number of any sign of life so we drove on. But as we couldn't find any other accomodation in the outskirts of Derry (and we wouldn't try looking... More

As the gate at the Manor House is dated 1837, it is allowed to be stiff to open. A firm push always opens it. The house being of the Georgian period and listed, it is required to maintain this style so while the bathroom has not been modernised, it has "modern" facilities with a shower in keeping with the style... Stayed for four nights and enjoyed it very much. Wonderful building with elegant gardens. Jean and Alister are gracious hosts with nothing being to much trouble. The rooms are comfortable with wonderful high ceilings. Breakfast is substantial and cooked to order. Highly recommended. Looking forward to my next visit.

Elegant living in a beautiful historic home. Run by a very pleasant and obliging couple for whom nothing was too much trouble. Very comfortable nights sleep and substantial breakfast, cooked to order at a time that suited me.
