Sounds like we should be headed to your house for dinner. Glad to hear you had some great fishing. We'll keep an eye on the taxi drivers, and hope you are back again soon!
Sunny regards from your friends at Stella Maris - Elizabeth
Cruising the Bahamas - this was one of the most hospitable and economical stops for us. Although I love luxury - this marina offers comfort and hospitality beyond compare. Ian and Sue were very friendly. Friends stayed at the lodging last year. The rooms were...More
This place has a lot to offer. All with the "old out island flavor" but not as remote feeling as some of the other islands. Great food, pools, daily transportation to Kayaking and alternate beaches. The friendly staff is not overly in the way but...More

Great little place next to the airport. I flew private and the FBO / customs is simple.
The resort is 70s / 80s. You can tell from the star rating. The AC in K1 sounded like a car from the 70s and didn't work. It's...More

Sorry for the delay. The house is private, more so than Flamingo or Dolphin. The pool is incredible. The three bedrooms are very separate, good for three couples/families. There's no private beach in 100 yards. There is a beach off the Moonshine bar, a 5 minute walk. You can snorkel off the back of Rainbow in calm high tide conditions, about once a week. We rent a car. The resort will drive you anywhere, but you lose flexibility. The car allows you to go Cape SM or other beaches whenever you want plus you can hit the local grocery. I've never seen a golf cart. Beds were good.
