I was a little anxious not knowing what to expect when arriving to Mulu. We have been travelling through Malaysia for some time and some accommodations and activities were just... not up to our expectations. However, the moment I stepped on the bridge leading to the park center, I know this is not such case. The center itself looks very...

I stayed here for a few days in February with a friend while exploring the national park. I think the setup they have is very cool. You really feel part of nature. The hotel is also the park head quarters, so you can schedule day trips to the nearby caves or treks through the rainforest. We stayed in a garden...

Mulu National Park is a great place for exploring caves, hiking, climbing a mountain, doing a canopy walk above the trees, to just viewing the diversity of nature. The hikes range from very easy on a boardwalk to very difficult. Some of the caves require long treks up and down hundreds of steps. There are about 600 steps total up...

I stayed in the Garden Bungalows in the park and loved them! They were spottless and spacious! The location was great for the activities in the Park. There were two beds, a bathroom, shower and deck. The price was great!

What a difference with Bako. We fully enjoyed the efficient check-in inclusive of all activities bookings, their spacious DeLuxe Garden Bungalow, their simple but tasty food, the well stocked shop on-site and all helpful staff. Then last but not least the wonderful park with awesome caves, well designed walk tracks and nice river adventures. Our four days gone bye before...

I have been two times here, in 2011 and 2017, must say second time could the how the management quality decreased considerably, staff attention, premises quality, trails maintenance, and specially due to the high risk, the skywalk where I found many boards rotten even breaking one under my foot when walking over twenty meter in the canopy. Nevertheless for who...

Visited Gunung Mulu National Park in Feb 2017. I didn't expect too much from this place as I found out about it accidentally, but it turned out to be superb. Unique nature, remote area, world's largest and longest caves and other exciting things! Few tips: 1) If you are considering to visit this place then add ~1-2 days extra into...

We stayed in Mulu for 12 nights, which is much longer than a lot of other people appeared to stay. During this time, we stayed in the hostel, the Rainforest Lodges and at Camp 5 (when we did the Pinnacles Trek). Every single room was great. The hostel was clean, had lockers, clean bathrooms, fans and a small kitchenette area....

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mulu National Park lodge. Our room was adorable, as is the rest of the park! The facilities are super new and nice, and our room was very comfortable, with jungle sounds all around us. The open air restaurant was good as well. We would love to return someday!
