Visited Kilconquhar for lunch with friends. First of all the Menu was very restricted but I quite fancied the Tagliatelle carbonara. I was informed that they had no tagliatelle and would I have penne pasta instead. To me that would be a totally different disband as I do not like Penne I declined. AS the only thing left on the... Booked fir one night, put in a double room which opened out to a pathway next the resturant. The area itself is pleasent, lots of challet type houses on the estate and proberly a great place for families. But the room we had was a bit smelly, very basic, and nit somewhere we wanted to spend much time in. Breakfast... More

My friend and I booked a stay here thinking that it would be a rather smart country house hotel given the facilities described. We were allocated a very dark room with a glass panelled door which opened outwards onto a pathway at the side of a restaurant. The window looked out onto the restaurant's wall which meant that this blind,... More

I purchased an over night for my partner as a birthday gift having looked at the website and been impressed with what was on offer. On arrival we were seriously disappointed the room was poky, dark and dingy. It was tired and had no view to speak of. You couldn't open the blind or you would have people looking in... More

We booked a villa last minute, the staff were friendly and our villa was a good size with fresh towels, beds etc. lots of parking, and you can either self cater, or eat in the restaurant. Breakfast was good although I found eggshell in my poached egg (not nice to crunch on, but an easy mistake to make I'm sure),... More

A last minute booking during the school holidays in the only available accommodation on site. Our party consisted of 2 adults, 3 kids (14, 11 & 9) & an excitable Spaniel. As we are self employed needed access to wifi & a decent phone signal so panicked reading other reviews after we had booked. We needn't have worried, 4G signal... More
