Two of us stayed on the dinner, bed & breakfast rate. In a lovely twin - with it's own open fireplace overlooking the village free. Hotel staff were brilliant, knew the area really well when we were enquiring about walking to North Berwick (which we did the following day). Food in the evening was simple, but really lovely! Very attentive...

The Open Arms,Hotel is sumptuous without being snooty and the food delicious without being pretentious. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful short stay in comfortable, clean rooms full of character and ate very good food at both breakfast and dinner in Deveau's restaurant. Heartily recommended.

We ate here as a group of 6 and the food and service was really good. Plenty choice and something to suit everyone. The restaurant was busy but the atmosphere was very relaxed. Lovely lounge to have coffee in after our meal.

Had a great Easter lunch with family. Lucky to get in without a booking, we ate in the conservatory area. Fixed price menu gave great choice and also catered for gluten free needs and the food was excellent all round. Coffee by the fire in the comfortable lounge afterwards was perfect. Great staff could not have been more perfect.

We chose the Open Arms Hotel in Dirleton a family recommendation - We weren't disapointed. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our room which was one of the garden rooms on the ground level. It was very comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean with a huge bathroom with both bath and a really good shower. The room opened on...

Visited last year and had a good stay. Back this week and had a great stay. Happy to go back and even happier this time the food was top quality as was the service. Difficult to find more superlatives, just go there and experience thisgem of a hotel.

We chose Dirleton Open Arms Hotel to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with family after visiting for lunch many years ago and thinking how romantic the location was and how stunning the library was for a special occasion The hotel did not not disappoint in any way. We started off with pre dinner drinks in the Marquis Room - if...

We spent the evening and night here celebrating my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. We had pre dinner drinks in the splendid Marquis Room followed by a dinner for 15 of us in the delightful Library. Most of us stayed over. The rooms were a range of different styles. Some of us had rooms at the back with doors that opened...

Stayed here on more than one occasion and always feel refreshed after a night here. Staff are friendly and efficient. Liam, the manager, goes out of his way to ensure your stay is enjoyable. We had a twin bedded room overlooking Dirleton castle. The room had everything you could want - tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water, and toiletries...

Having just returned from Open Arms Hotel, both my husband and I had a lovely stay. We went looking for a peaceful mini break & that's what we got. Nothing was a problem, rooms tastefully decorated & we were able to take our Yorkie which was a bonus. Meals were superb with a varied choice, only disappointment was we were...
