A group of us booked 6 rooms for an annual reunion. We hadn't used this hotel before but the very positive reviews pointed us in its direction, and were well merited. The accommodation was very good, although rooms at the rear of the hotel suffered a bit of noise from the crows/rooks nesting in the nearby trees. Food and drink...

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Trigony House - excellent facilities for our dog (who also delighted with his visit!). The quality of the food and the choices were excellent - the Roe Deer venison and lamb chump were outstanding both benefiting from the subtle use of herbs and spices. The chef's productions throughout our stay were magnificent -...

Four of us had dinner on Saturday 13th May 2017. We sat at a window with views of the lovely gardens. The service, ambience, and food were all excellent. The after dinner coffee was particularly good. This hotel is a little gem with a great chef!

This was our second visit at Trigony House and another great stay . The room was perfect with a large comfortable bed and in the bathroom we had the luxury of using some organic bath products from the Hebrides. The staff at breakfast were extremely pleasant and helpful . I loved the homemade bread ,brioche and jam . Our cooked...

This was our second trip to Trigony House and it truly felt like returning home. It was great to catch up with Dora, Adam, Richard and of course gorgeous hotel pup Roxy. The hotel was spotless as always and our rooms as comfortable as we remembered them. The food was fantastic, seriously we don't know how Adam delivers such quality...

We have stayed at Trigony several times now and it remains a fantastic (truly)dog friendly Hotel. The room (we always take the Garden room) is extremely comfortable, and the views to the hills are lovely. The food was superb and there is an excellent choice of vegetarian meals. This was the first stay in a hotel for our new rescue...

We were made welcome, and so was the dog, upon our arrival and shown to our room, which was very comfortable and spacious. Dinner was very good and had been prepared using high quality produce. Similarly, a very good breakfast was cooked to order using quality ingredients. A small country house in lovely grounds.

My wife and I stayed for two nights while exploring the area and doing some fishing. The Trigony was a minor revelation! Truly excellent meals on both nights, a very comfortable and spacious room and exceptional service. The hotel instantly felt very much like home and although we have no dog of our own, the canine guests made for great...

Amazing short break at this friendly hotel. Attention to detail makes this hotel stand out - scones and tea on arrival, with special treats for doggy guests. Breakfast and dinner were superb, sausage for Jess particularly appreciated. Beautiful gardens to relax in, loved the massage at the garden spa. Can't recommend more highly. Thank you x

Have just returned from yet another excellent couple of nights at Trigony. As always, everything was just as one would like a country house hotel/restaurant to be, from the smell of your dinner cooking as you enter the front door, to the comfort of the rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff and, despite being a "standard" room this time, the...
