I stayed at the hotel for one night. But one thing that I remember is I had several zoom-meetings that day. That is why the wifi connection was a crucial factor. I had no expectation about it previously. However, it turned out that all of my meetings went well without any signal trouble.

I stayed in Jogja because I accompanied my husband who visited his project there. Since I spend many times alone, I decided to strolled in Ambarrukmo Plaza. the connecting bridge helped me out much. I don't need to worry in crossing the busy road between the mall and the hotel.

And the last factor which made me happy was the hotel concerned about covid19 protocols. They gave me a package consisted of a hand sanitizer, a gloves, and a mask. At the restaurant, they put food in separate plates so that the visitor don't need to touch the buffet.

After months in Bali in our house during the Corona Pandemic we decided to travel to Yogya and Solo for a few days. Having stayed at the Grand Ambarrukmo Hotel before we immediately felt like coming home even though a number of the team members of the past were not working there anymore. We got a double room on the 5th floor at the far end which is slightly bigger than the normal rooms however this comes with a higher price. As the room on the fifth floor is on the same level as the swimming pool and the gym spending the extra money is worthwhile. A new addition to the hotel is a covered very well designed passage bridge across the very busy main road to the adjacent shopping center with its many shops and a great variety of different restaurants. The bedroom like all other areas were spotlessly clean throughout the 6 nights we stayed at the hotel. However we were a bit disappointed by the breakfast which in the past was always a highlight during our stays in this hotel. Due to the Corona Pandemic It is understood that the previous big choice of self service options was replaced by a limited selection provided in individual service stations by cooks. The choice on offer was throughout our stay always the same, for example the bread station offered always the same options as by the way most other stations as well. Thus after 3 days we were a bit disappointed by the lack of choices. We greatly enjoyed the two dinners we took at the hotel, they were cooked to perfection. In all areas the service was excellent and all employees were friendly and smiling. Hopefully our next visit will be during 'normal' times without restrictions. But whatever the situation we will certainly return.

I have been in this hotel several times. This hotel is one of my favourite hotels in Yogya.
Good location. Just across the street, you will find Ambarukmo Plaza mall.
Reception staff, Mr Wawan was so friendly.
Health protocol was well operated at this hotel, even at restaurant during breakfast.
All restaurant staff used mask and faceshields.
You may not touch or pick the food and drinks. All must be taken by the staff.
Fried rice and croissants were very ok.

Comfortable bedroom.

The experience of staying at the Grand Amambarrukmo hotel is quite impressive even though it is only a one-night transit in the city of Jogja. The service from the staff on duty is very very friendly and feels warm. Starting from the check-in process, breakfast until check-out the staff are quite informative. Room condition is clean and neat. And happened to get a room on the top floor, so you can see the beauty of the city of Jogja at night through the window of the room. Breakfast is also delicious and quite varied. Thank you very much to Mas Awan, who gave us recommendations for some places to eat that night. I am very appreciative because indeed we do not know many places to eat that are recommended in Jogja. Thank you Grand Ambarrukmo. Always be success.

Perfect location for stayed during our company event at Plaza Ambarrukmo support with connecting skybridge from hotel to mall (easy and safe).
We booked during long weekend period for 4 night. My friends, Yunita and Winanda was helpful and taking care our room booking then assign our room based on our request. Check in was smooth with new standard procedure (we need to complete add form upon check in for COVID purpose), and that's acceptable. Room was clean and quite from near room noisy.
Mr. Kidung did daily make room and pick up laundry service on time, and everything done when we back to room after event.
Breakfast menu was enough variants and resto staff (thanks Vendy help me finding table) also quick response for clearance table to used by next guest.
We also experience pool and jacuzzi at 5th floor as kind of refreshment during business trips.

Great and nice stayed experience for business trip and small leisure. Thank you for all of you.

People think a hotel stay is about nice rooms, good food, good location, friendly staff etc .. yes this is true but it is mostly about Kindness towards the Guests . Hotel Grand Ambarrukmo has many kind people • It offers Friendly Staff, Clean Rooms and great breakfast etc, Very kind and helpful Reception & Front Office Staff. Beautiful View from my 7th-floor room. Fantastic Breakfast all kinds of variety from Western to Indonesian, and local Yogyakarta food. Covid secure environment.

I am particularly grateful to the Night Manager Mr. Rahmat who kindly picked me up from the station at 3.55 AM, advised me about local travels, etc & looked after me thereafter with a nice coffee and pastries. Mr. Rahmat was a kind man indeed. As I checked out after 2 nights Mr. Rifqi from reception was also kind and sent me off with a box of Breakfast Pasteries for my onward train journey. We cannot ask for any more kindness. I am a happy guest and a happy customer. Everyone from the Concierge to the Front Desk Staff was kind and always smiling and obliging. I loved my stay here and would return again.

We stayed during last weekend (25-26 Sept 2021) at room 761.

The room was exeptionally clean and fresh, love the bathroom too. Great job for Houskeeping dept. All the staff was fast responed, friendly and helpfull, especially front office staff who helped me arrange because a friend of mine forgot to take a parking ticket when he dropped my car.

He gladly arrange and inform to parking attendant all the detail in sunday morning in order we can leave parking area without a ticket.

We had a chance to try their croffle and bite box promo, all delicious as well their breakfast selection was complete.

Overall hotel staff were always make sure it was a pleasant staycation for us, thank you very much and always looking forward to back at Grand Ambarrukmo Hotel.

Had a very nice experience at this hotel. Last 3 days we used arcadaz and a meeting room to organize a training from government association. During those 3 days, we've got help from hotel employees named mas davit and friends who were very friendly and we no needed a long time to wait everything we needed.
The food was also tasty and varied.

We stayed at Grand Ambarukmo Hotel Jogjakarta for 2 nights and experienced the impeccable hospitality. From the very first time we stepped into this hotel smiles from all the employees never cease until the last day we stepped out.
And to make it even better they threw a sweet little surprise for me since they knew the 1st day we checked in was my birthday. Isn't that sweet. The next day, we needed some little stuff when packing up, and those little stuff they even provided. To us there's only one word describes this place : SATISFYING.
Will sure come and stay here on our next trip, and will also recommend this Grand Ambarukmo to our family and friends.

"Traffic can be a little heavy if you are traveling during peak. Link bridge to mall helps so much to avoid by jaywalking to cross over."
