The room rate I got was reasonable, the hotel was clean and I found the staff friendly. The one down side was the lack of choice on the menu and the high price, £25 for two courses. If there were any other restaurants or take aways close by I would have went els where for food.

A pleasant return visit to one of our favourite hotels in the most wonderful part of Scotland. As usual the hosts Jenny and Andrew ensured that our stay was special as indeed did all the staff. The food whether it was breakfast or dinner was as usual superb and extremely good value. It was great that the ongoing improvements to...

Second visit to this hotel in 6 months and not disappointed. Lovely room allocated on ground floor and the meal at night excellent as was the breakfast on Sunday morning. Staff helpful so no hesitation to go back.

Stayed for 4 nights in mid February. Wrong time to go as it was very quiet and there was no atmosphere in the hotel. The hotel looks very nice on the outside but it is situated on the main A93 and all it's traffic. Inside they are having alterations done but this did not really effect our visit. We had...

A thoroughly enjoyable short stay, our second in a year. Excellent room, very quiet. Food delicious, lots of choice. Lovely walks in the forest and lochs just a few steps away. Manager and staff all attentive and on the ball. What more could we ask for?

On arriving at Loch Kinord after a long drive from London we were greeted by a very welcoming & friendly gentleman. He gave us all the information we required without us asking ie restaurant & bar locations & wifi password. He showed us to our room which had a four poster bed & a lovely outside seating area overlooking a...

Booked through work, hotel undergoing refurbishment and chef was on holiday so no food however manager very helpful and allowed us to use meal allowance at Indian restaurant down the road. Great character, traditional design and fantastic customer service. Would like to come back when all is in order. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

We recently stayed a single night at the Loch Kinrod Hotel with family visiting the highlands. A warm welcome on arrival and excellent service throughout our stay. One of the party needs a wheelchair to get around and effort was made to ensure that he was comfortably accommodated. Dinner was relaxing with a good choice of food -- and an...

W stayed just for night for a getaway. The hotel was quiet but we were greeted by a very friendly lady who got us a.drink while she checked in another couple. Sat in front of the fire with hamish and morag! Our room was cosy and clean and nice laid out and decorated. Spa bath was fab. Lovely way to...

This was our first trip to the Highlands, which we found beautiful and well worth the visit. We thought this hotel looked quite good on the website, but found it disappointing and expensive for what it was. The bedroom was far too small for a four poster bed. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable and I had four poor...
