Thanks for your review. It was lovely to meet you both. You are right about the garden furniture. It has been on our 'to do' list for a while. However, co-ordinating our free time with favourable weather has been limiting! The furniture has now been repainted and re-varnished over the last few weeks. The plant pots around the front door...

Staff really friendly but over priced for what's on offer. More a pub with rooms than hotel Had stayed in three hotels across Wales during week, all same price but facilities far less good here Tired & a bit grubby Mould in bathroom Drank tea from cup in bedroom & tasted strongly of disinfectant Breakfast only served between 8am-9am so...

Me and my dog had a very nice 3-night stay at Elen's Castle Hotel. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and well appointed. The food was very good and I enjoyed eating in the restaurant each night. The hotel is mostly dog friendly, except you have to leave your dog in your car at breakfast time...

We visited for a weekend when we arrived there was a man that was very kind to us and talked us through the stay the first time we seen the landlady was when she served us the food and she didn't say hello or make conversation it was " steak ... ? Pie ..? Steak " . Due to the...

Oh dear! All we can say is that we are terribly sorry. We had no idea that your grandfather had fallen and we both hope that he is ok. Unfortunately, due to the historical nature of our building (it is an 18th century inn), we do not have a lift or a downstairs toilet. We do have an accessibility statement...

Took a few nights stay at this Lovely Welsh Hotel over the last Bank holiday in May. From the moment we pulled up at the door of this old coach house hotel we were made very welcome by Adam and Helen, the hotel is located in the most perfect setting of countryside with hills and rivers to. The room was...

We stayed in the bunk house attached to the hotel over the bank holiday weekend for a hiking break. It was basic but for the price, very reasonable with bunk beds and a shower room. The hotel owner was very friendly, greeting us on arrival despite it being late in the evening and even opening the kitchen late when we...

We had a great stay in the Elens hotel, the bedroom was perfect, with a view of the snowdonian mountains, our evening meal and breakfast the next morning was delicious. As my husband was born in the village, we enjoyed a walk up to the station and the village school. After our walk, Helen and Adam the owners of the...

Perfect setting to get away from the rate race and switch off. Hotel friendly, comfortable and relaxed. TV and WiFi reception was good. Arrived very late on Friday check in, almost mid night; but this was not a concern for the proprietor.. View from bedroom was over mountains, river and grazing sheep..

Went for three days with our two big dogs. We were very welcomed and nothing was too much trouble! Ate in the bar one evening and the food was delicious and breakfast was lovely looking out over the hills. Rooms very comfortable. Ideally situated to explore the beautiful surroundings of snowdonia. Cannot rate this enough!
