Decided to have an on spec Saturday night away and came across the Lion by chance on the internet. The village is beautiful and very friendly as was the welcome in the Lion. The room was clean and comfortable and good value for money. We also had our Saturday night tea there and it was well presented, home cooked and...

Arrived here 2.30ish Sunday afternoon, slightly worried that we wouldn't get served because of the time. No problem though! Friendly and helpful people behind the bar, no trouble to serve my Sunday lunch with salmon not meat; the stacked burger was as it says on the tin. Nice brownie with vanilla ice-cream to share for pud.. New owners really trying...

We had a lovely meal with the family whilst enjoying a weekend away in June. The food was really good. All of us were made to feel so welcome, from my young grandchildren to my elderly mum. Thank you so much for a memorable evening. Cant wait to return.

We called in here for lunch on our return journey from Pembrokeshire. The hotel is warm and welcoming. We had a round of Beef and horseradish sandwiches which were very good, accompanied by some chips. Simple fare but very well done. Good selection of ales and beers and very good service.

The Lion Inn is located in a beautiful scenic part of Wales. Paul and Dave make you most welcome in the 300 year old Inn- full of low beams and lots of character. Our room was small but light and airy with pine furniture, immaculate bathroom, fluffy white towels and a generous hospitality tray. We overlooked the church of this...

Visited the lion hotel with my family for food and drinks. Lovely welcome when we arrived. Food was really nice with helpful and friendly staff. Only wish I had room for pudding! Maybe next time. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area or just passing through. Keep up the good work.

We were a group of 13 (adults and children) who enjoyed a delicious meal this evening with friends and family. We were made so welcome, the food was great - tasty and very fresh. We had drinks in the bar first, played some tunes on the juke box and then moved into the restaurant area to eat. The staff are...

Paul and Dave made me feel super welcome as I was on my own when I visited. I was given a lovely clean room, very spacious with the most comfy bed I've slept on in a long time (may have been helped with the yummy wine they served!) Food in the morning was amazing and I felt like a very...

Popped in for a drink and from the start Paul was friendly and helpful. Booked a table and returned for a lively pub meal, well cooked and presented by Dave. Both Paul and Dave have the art of friendly hospitality down to a tee. They have taken over pub since Feb this year and are obviously held in high regard...
