We were looking for a dog friendly pub/restaurant near where we were staying at Gwbert and this great place came up. We had an excellent meal, couldn't fault it. Would highly recommend it. The decor isn't modern gastro pub, it is a bit dated but that I think is part of its charm, will definately go back if in the...

This hotel is in a lovely spot overlooking Poppit Sands on the estuary. My stay was for a couple of nights on business but I will definitely return again for both business and hopefully for a family break in the near future. The room I had was basic but very clean and comfortable if a little dated in places. The...

We planned a lovely fish lunch and we got it! mackerel with horseradish and herb pate, toasted ciabatta delicious start. The Hake was in a lemon and herb crusted top, on a bed of wild rice, and Thai vegetables in a Thai broth.......mmmmmmm,! With chilli, but beautifully balanced with the flavours and chilli, not too hot. We have been several...

A lovely hotel with very friendly staff and beautiful meals. Stayed 1 night in room 10 , breakfast was again lovely with plenty of choice. Only downfall was the towels which although were lovely and white had obviously seen better days and had very shabby ends and needed to be renewed. Also the shower rail was bent so the water...

We needed to stay local to Cardigan for one night so that we could attend a funeral. We booked two double rooms at short notice and couldn't fault it. Simon was a marvelous host. We ate a lovely home made evening meal which was excellent value. We stayed during the Christmas break so there were few other guests but nothing...

We visited in August with friends, and were very pleased with the hotel. The food was very good, well prepared and nice selection. The room was comfortable, up a flight of stairs, and it was quiet, even though there is a pub downstairs. The owner was helpful, friendly, and service-friendly. The location was good for exploring the surrounding area by...

Staying at the YHA at Poppit Sands, I popped in to the Webley merely through convenience and because there is a compelling view over the sands to the harbour mouth. Friendly welcome from Simon, the proprietor, who moved here a while back from Cardiff. He spoke enthusiastically about the Welsh language and community spirit, an area where the Welsh perhaps...
