Bahamian Rake & Scrape band every Thursday night and delicious BBQ... Great vibes and nice view! The outdoor space is lovely with a pool and small dancefloor... I thought the staff was great, especially the older gentleman who bartends (wish I knew his name)... Highly recommend!

Taji R: I believe the bartender you are referring to is Lermon Rolle or 'Doc'. I want to thank you for your generous review and recommendation of the PnP. Our staff works hard at being prepared and knowledgable about what our guests want when they come to the Peace and Plenty. Barry Benjamin owner

We just spent 5 nights at the P&P and had a great time. This resort is in the heart of Georgetown and within walking distance to restaurants, a liquor store, and a grocery store. This historic property is well maintained and the staff very friendly and helpful. "Doc" Lerman is a breath of fresh tropical breeze with a quick smile...

Jim B: Thanks for the wonderful review. The staff and management want to make our guests feel like they have a second 'home' in George Town. AJ is a real treasure also. We will be working on getting the pool light fixed asap. I am going also going to make sure the pool is cleaned on a daily basis. Barry...

Perfect place to go to end the day! Or start the night! We go every day after fishing for the awesome poolside / bayside bar. The view of that emerald green / turquoise water is amazing! Super drinks and fun people!

You have to go to the Peace and Plenty. The oldest hotel in Exuma. History galore - neat bar - but get A.J. To make you a conch salad. You will love it. You have not experienced Exuma without having a conch salad. Don't miss out. Enjoy.

Thank you Marie Diane D! A.J. is a relatively new addition to the PnP family. We all enjoy his enthusiasm and hard work that he puts into his delightful conch salad. A.J. is just one of the friendly staff members that give their all for our guests every day at the PnP. Come and enjoy the BBQ on Thursday nights...

Though I didn't stay at the hotel, because I was staying with a friend, we did go there for breakfast and several times for BBQ supper. I found the staff to be friendly and we were served in a timely manner. The BBQ'D food was delicious, reasonably priced and large portions. I will go back.

pretty grim. The rooms were beyond tired, and not clean. We had to be there, but it was not a destination I'd ever select if I had an option. The staff were obliging and friendly but they really didn't have much to work with

Wandering into Peace and Plenty for dinner we were greeted by the Receptionist, a lovely young lady who made us feel welcome and assured us there was place for us in the restaurant we were welcome to take a seat! We were no sooner seated when a waitress stuck her head out the door and asked "What do you want?"...

We didn't stay here but went to the BBQ our first night in Georgetown. It has a nice atmosphere and friendly bartenders and lobby staff. A lot of the guests are from the boats/yachts in the harbour so you have an opportunity to meet people from all over. It's located in the heart of Georgetown, easy access. (Bring/wear bug spray...

Our staff enjoys making everyone feel like they are at home when they visit the PnP for BBQ or for any reason. We try making it enjoyable to a wide variety of people from overseas to locals. A pleasant seaside retreat, great Thursday night BBQ around the pool and bar. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access by boat. All supplies come from Nassau or Southern US.. expect some shortage and high prices.
