A clean and quiet, well maintained "resort" with the caribbean sea practically out your doorstep. The villas all face west where a few coconut trees and small palm trees are the only things between you and the beach; literally 15 yards away where you can...More
That's what Richie said we were, because by definition, we "walked in" for our meals but didn't stay there. Given a notepad, told to write our names on it, then shown the ropes about the honor bar, we got our first drink - "Make whatever...More
We had the entire beach to ourselves! Kayaks were easily accessible. We had fun kayaking, swimming, and walking the beach. Richard was very hospitable and took care of all of our needs, breakfast lunch and dinner. We will definitely return! We missed our connection on...More
We stayed at Tail Winds in the middle of December it was an amazing experience! The beach is right outside your Villa; you can hear the ocean waves crash as you sleep. The beach was absolutely beautiful with the softest sand you will ever step...More
Beautiful, perfectly kept rooms, INCREDIBLE clean and calm sea, very few people around. Bring books and goggles. Owner cooks meals together with his team right on the spot and is very welcoming. Book it!

There are curtains on the windows and patio doors; obviously if you leave them open those passing by can look in, that being said though, the deck is large between the rooms, someone wanting to see inside your room would have to purposely walk close by to see in. Is helpful to leave the curtains closed during the day when the afternoon sun is at its highest to keep your room cool, also so the air conditioning doesn't have to work so hard. And of course, if you leave your curtains open at night with the lights on, then those outside on the deck can see inside. There's enough greenery between the resort and the beach that those walking by at night would have to try real hard to look in.
We stayed in Hannah's Hangar - it's beachfront - and left our curtains open at night so we could wake up to see the ocean from the bed. Some nights we turned the ac off, opened the windows and patio doors (all screened), opened the curtains to fall asleep and wake up to the ocean sounds. Ahhhhhh.......
As far as skinny-dipping goes: depends on your comfort level!!
