Just got back from the Atlantis for a 7 day 6 nights stay at the Beach Tower. The hotel is decent. We have two kids and an infant which made the room a little cramp for all of us. I asked for a refrig for the baby but was told that it would cost $15/day. I decided against it since...

Family of 4 from London, England. Kids aged 9 and 13 looking forward to swimming and water park. Staying 8 nights. Have been looking forward to this for years and finally we made it. If we go back to Atlantis again it won't be at the Beach Tower. Why? 1. After a long flight, arrived at Beach Tower at around...

I have 3 boys all under 7 years old. We were looking for a sun-filled beach/pool getaway vacation with a direct flight from Boston. The convenience of a 2.5hr direct flight with young kids overruled any concerns about Atlantis that I read online. Big mistake! Before I explain, I should point out that I lived in St. Thomas (Virgin Islands)...

I definately think everyone should go to Atlantis to experience it atleast once. The views and the atmosphere are so unique and breathtaking that it almost cancels out the bad. You should already know that the prices are insane, I am from NYC I am used to expensive but this is just ridiculous. Even if your the most modest spender...

My husband, one year old son, and I just returned from a 4-night stay at the Beach Tower and absolutely loved it. The resort is awesome if you are looking for fun and love waterparks and playing on the beach. My son loved the little slides and The Current. We loved the tubes and the plunge rides. We paid the...

We just returned from 5 days at Atlantis and had an awesome time. We have nothing to complain about. We traveled with another family, there were 8 of us in two rooms. We stayed at the Beach tower, they stayed at the Comfort Suites (which they were not thrilled with). We were pleased with the Beach tower, we thought the...

Bottom Line: Had a great trip and would certainly go back. Overall the Atlantis is a great hotel and the Bahamas was very nice. One quick note - on check in day, stay away from the people in the orange suits. They will continously hound you into going on a time share pitch. Probably got hit up about 5 times...

For three weeks in April 2007, I stayed at Atlantis for a conference I was producing. My overall impression was that the resort is over-hyped and most definitely overpriced. It reminds me of an amusement park - very expensive food, long lines and big crowds, and exorbitant charges if you want to do anything extra. As mentioned by previous posters,...

We just got back from a 9 night stay at the Beach Towers hotel in Atlantis. We were a little skeptical about all of the reviews that were not good but we had a great time. Rooms: The rooms in the Beach Tower were clean and small. The beds are twin so we needed to get an extra cot so...

The Beach Tower hotel is dated and needs renovating, but it is clean and well-kept. The maid service is good and helpful. The property itself is gorgeous with a lot of things to do especially for children, but the staff are rude and discourteous. They are more interested in selling you time share condominiums than assisting you. There were times...
