Cruz Bay, St. John
Reviewed yesterday NEW

New menus for restaurant are very limited. Lunch is only served noon till 2. Lobby restaurant area looks great. New staff seem to be young kids not well versed in island time or customer service. New tents look great but price point has gone up

Pleasant, clean, well equipped. The Beach was awesome, crystal clear and calm. St. John is a small clean well maintained island. The people are friendly. We rented a car and it was easy to get around. Hard to get lost, but not impossible.

First of all...this is a campground folks, so if you are looking for a/c,hot tub,all inclusive dining, this is not the place for you If you want, BEAUTIFUL beaches, great company and the beach..Book now. This is a favorite place for all visitors to the island, so taxis often drop "day warriors" for the day to spend the day on...

I knew I was in for a treat or a horror and it was both. Now I knew it was a campground and so I would have to walk to the restrooms and that the showers would be cold. Ok lots of national park campgrounds don't have showers. And we were in the cabins so we didn't have to bring...

This is a spectacular setting. The beach is pristine and gorgeous and the snorkeling is great. The accommodations were somewhat difficult. This is a campground but is different form other NP campgrounds. I think your experience could be improved by going truly prepared. We stayed in the cottages. Currently these are small concrete rooms with electricity ( which is essential...

We have been vacationing at Cinnamon Bay Campground almost every March for 2 weeks since 1981 and we love it. A new management company was hired in June, 2016 with plans to refurbish the facilities. We have not been back since the new management company took over so I don't know what we will find this coming March or how...

If you like hot showers, air conditioning, daily room service, this is not the place for you. After the closure of Maho campground, we wanted to find a new campground on St John. ...yes I said a campground. Why spend the money to come to a tropical paradise and sit in a climate-control hotel room with a TV and a...

We stopped by to use the facilities after a day at the beach and the entire building is under construction. Nothing was available-not even restrooms. We asked and were told it should be up in about a month. It looked like extensive work was being done.

We (2 gals in our early 30's) camped here for 10 days. This campground was a typical campground - picnic tables provided, decent bathroom and shower facilities (outdoor showers, which was pretty cool). Most of the tent sites also had tarps already in place to further shelter tents from rain (this was absolutely needed!). Our site was 30 feet from...

The most beautiful beach, wildlife and nature ...We enjoyed the simplicity of the campground and our beachfront cabins... Nice coral reefs and great swimming. It's near Maho bay where we swam with magnificent sea turtles ...However , new management , Redwood Campground is taking over , all the long term employees ( all locals, not like other resorts that hire...
