I've had the pleasure of staying with you guys for a day pass a couple days ago. Reception staff was friendly clean beautiful hotel. Covid protocols were observed the room was fabulous.... The food from your indoor restaurant was (and I kid you not) THE WORST CHINESE FOOD I'VE EVER HAD!!! I only managed to get one bite of my lunch and didn't go further...my partner tried with his and had maybe 10 mouthfuls before it became unbearable. I decided to order something basic Chicken and Fries (because no one could make that taste bad)....I was wrong it's wasn't as HORRIBLE as the first meal because we managed to get it all down. Thanks for reminding me that hotel food can be that bad!!!! The drinks on the other hand was great.... It was my 1st visit and it would definitely be my last.

My experience was with the Kava restaurant. Prior to the covid lockdown, I went there and ordered two (stone) oven baked pizzas and after reopening, I had their lamb burger. The pizzas were great, service efficient and staff polite. I felt like I hit the jackpot when I was able to freeze and revisit. Now the lamb burger …. I should do a review just for that. It was perfect in every way. Not many people can do a good lamb burger and maintain that unique flavour of lamb with the perfect cook time and warm bun. That bun had to be baked in house.

Room Tip: Helpful tip? Order TWO burgers per person. Too good to have just one.

This hotel was first class. From the second we arrived, the staff took our luggage and saw about all of our needs. My daughter and I stayed for a full week. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was complimentary and deliveried to our room at the time we requested. One day we forgot to order breakfast and the front desk called to say that they didn't see an order from us and asked if we still wanted breakfast (which we did😊). Such personal and hospitable treatment. I highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I stayed at the kapok hotel on our repatriation to trinidad to complete the state supervised quarantine. It was expensive but it was the cheapest out of all the hotels offering the quarantine, and the quality of the hotel was well worth it. The bed was huge and comfy and the pillows are the comfiest hotel pillows I've ever slept on. The TV with cable was great and the outside terrace we could use for fresh air is a god send. The room is spacious and was very clean. The staff are all very helpful and they must be run off their feet, as well as putting themselves at risk to serve us all. Bless them. The pool looks nice and inviting but we cannot use it which isn't the hotels fault its just the rules, the grounds are well kept and has some nice comfy outdoor furniture for sitting out and having a drink. The room service has been good and the few bits of food we have ordered from the kava restaurant have been decent however a little pricey so we have ordered food from outside. Our room included breakfast and the breakfast was really quite substantial, hot omelette or scrambled eggs and sausages or quiche etc, plus toast and jam, plus a yogurt piece of fruit, muffin or cake and a fresh juice, cant ask for more. Under the circumstances the hotel has provided an outstanding service and I would reccomend it to anyone wishing to stay here in the future (hopefully under better circumstances) Its not 5 star but its clean comfortable and has wonderful staff who are helpful.

This was the first time my wife and I stated at Kapok(City Break-Staycation) and I must say that it was not impressive at all. There was no room service so I had to actually go to Tiki Village to collect our food. I also asked if they could deliver 2 bottles of water to us but they said I had to go downstairs(from the 4th floor) to buy the water at the lobby and carry it to the room myself. I asked if we could have the complimentary breakfast(from Kava) delivered to our room to which they said they don't usually deliver it but they would this time because I asked. NB: BOTH RESTAURANTS ARE LOCATED IN THE SAME BUILDING so I dont see why the meals couldn't be delivered. The only good thing was the pool area which was very clean and well put together. The hotel staff was also very polite and friendly but you'll have to tell them if you're celebrating anything special because they're not gonna ask. When we checked out there was no forum provided for us to give feedback and well....no one asked us. I was MOST dissatisfied with the quality AND quantity of the breakfast especially since other competitors offer a FAR superior breakfast. I posted a pic of the breakfast but I forget to include the apple to the picture.
