Stayed at Shalom for 10 days and we got a very good service all time. Very helpful family and provided assistance whenever possible. Wonderful breakfast and the sleeping rooms are properly equipped. The bed was comfortable and the showers fine. We recommend the guesthouse for the homely touch.

Group of 3 of us stayed at Shalom Guesthouse for a couple of nights while in transit to the US. Cherise gave us such a warm welcome and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. She arranged taxis and for people to accompany us to new places. There was free wifi, air con and complementary snacks in...

Thank you very much to Shirley who is a wonderful person, very kind and available. I only spent one night but my boyfriend stayed more and, as he doesn't speak English, se helped him a lot! The place is out of the city, up the hill, no buses drive there, but if you don't have a car (I didn't) you...

Perfect. The room is minimally furnished which is fine for the trip. A dresser, the fridge and a closet. There is...

So, the bridal party (9 of us in total) occupied 3 rooms within Shalom guesthouse. We were greeted by Cherise, who is the sweetest woman in the world. She gave us a marriage book, on how to choose...

Although my wife's family comes from Trinidad, it was my first time visiting the country, and we flew in from the UK. We were looking for a clean safe place which was not too expensive, since we were only recently married. The hostess welcomed us warmly and showed us a very clean, quiet room with air-conditioning and our own bathroom....

“If you plan to stay during the busy times of year... try booking about 6-9 months ahead of time so the rooms don't book up. The top floor also has a nice balcony with chairs, it is nice to sit there at night. Both floors have breakfast areas.”
