We were actually there Jan 2016, not June. At any rate it won't affect my memory for review!! We loved it❤️not just b/c it was our honeymoon...we wanted a remote feel to our vaca & we got it! It's the only Resort of its size on the entire island. Some B&B/Air BnB to be sure but nothing like this. Staff...

Note to ALL travellers - there is only ONE completed beachfront villa and it has a bar between it and the beach, which means you have an audience every time you get into your plunge pool. The whole resort need fumigating - it is quite clear that the developer has built this resort in an area that was once filled...

This resort is closed and unless a company with a bucket load of money takes it on is unlikely to re-open. We arrived at the resort back on 20 November last year at 22:00 only to be told that we were not expected! Asked for some food and were presented with two burger containers with some lettuce and three pieces...

Hotel was lovely. The situation at the time was very unfortunate! Service was great. We had an entire villa for ourselves with a plunge Pool so we did not have to keep trecking down to the main pool. Did not leave the hotel for our entire stay there. Really hope that the hotel reopens soon. Would like to return with...

We spent just 1 night here at the end of November and for those 24 hours we could see things were not right, but our villa with private pool, dinner at the steakhouse, breakfast, massages were all aok. it seems it went down hill very fast after that and as you do we chatted with people at dinner or by...

Not surprised that buccument bay has closed,it was not five star more like 2,the staff were friendly but the management needed a lot to desire. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, We stayed for 2 weeks and it was a disaster from day one,

Hoping to return to this hotel after my trip in 2014, I booked through BOOKING.COM to go to the hotel over Christmas and new year. I read the terrible reviews about facilities closed, hygiene issues, staff in strike, people looting the hotel. I called BOOKING.COM to cancel my booking and to retrieve the 2 day deposit that had coincidentally left...

We stayed at this resort in November for 10 days. We did have a lovely holiday as we were not going to let all of the negativity ruin our long anticipated break. The resort has now closed down! Only three restaurants were ever open (and sometimes only two...and this is after you have booked which is compulsory) with extremely limited...

Believe the horror stories - they are all true. And I will add to that the fight that awaits you when you get home to get some kind of compensation from the Travel Agents. The only plus point was the friendliness of the staff that were not on strike, we felt desperately sorry for them.
