Really like this place, been twice, and we'll come again. Mirka and Rob (plus Murphy) are great hosts. We stayed in the stable, which is perfect for four (1 adult plus 3 children in my case). Well kept, clean, friendly and no hassle. Thank you.

A gorgeously quirky cottage surrounded by the glorious countryside of North Wales. The view was amazing, the cottage itself had everything thing we needed. So nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of normal life to relax in such tranquility. Close to a great deal of interesting places to visit. Would highly recommend it, and hope to be...

Had a wonderful stay in the Barn and Hayloft for three nights. Our hosts were friendly, welcoming and provided lots of useful information about the local area. The barn has stunning views across Snowdonia and on clear days you can look out over the sheep filled fields to the sea and mountains near by. The barn was spotlessly clean and...

We returned again back to Tyddyn Iolyn for our October break . We could never imagine staying anywhere else in Wales. Mirka and Rob are always at hand when we need them but also leave us if we need our privacy . My boys love the privacy and space this farmhouse gives us and although we are out everyday for...

We recently stayed in one of the cottages at Tyddyn Iolyn - The Barn and Hayloft - for 3 nights. The location is stunning, secluded up a farmers track yet only a few minutes drive from Porthmadog. The views are beautiful and the accommodation offered everything we needed for our stay. Mirka was a fantastic host. I would highly recommend...

To say that Tyddyn Iolyn is anything other than an idyllic retreat from the world is to underrate it significantly. Me and my partner stayed in the Barn and Hayloft and to be absolutely frank, we didn't want to leave! Where to start? Well, the accommodation is first-rate - lovely soft bed, all modern conveniences and a great place to...

Stayed here for a week with my husband and baby daughter in order to visit family in the area. Booked the 'Barn & Hayloft', one bed cottage, and we weren't disappointed. The cottage has every possible amenity, a shower and a bath (although shower is unsuitable for those over 5'10" due to height), two toilets, highchair & cot if needed,...

Our first time ever to the North of Wales and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. We spent 3 nights in the Stable Cottage with our young son and he absolutely loved it too. Mirka and Rob were very welcoming and gave us quite a lot of advice about local places to visit and eat. We loved...

We stayed here with our 18 month old son. An idyllic spot with lots for our little one to explore. Beautiful property with everything you could need for a family holiday. The owners were fantastic and gave us lots of tips for what to do in the local area. Our little one particularly loved the steam train trip. Will definitely...

...still remembering my time away at Tyddyn Iolyn with great fondness. Everything was just idyllic. I would definitely recommend walking along the coast trail. And the new owners - Rob & Mirka - are the perfect hosts. Cannot wait to return!
