Yes, there are local busses that one can take to town. They pick up passengers along the main road. There is no regular schedule but the come and go throughout the day, they are quite easy to catch and cost only a dollar... More

The beach is about 4 miles away. It's just a 10 to 15 minute drive down the hill. We have few different beaches we can recommend based on your interests.

Nothing is cheap on Nevis! Wine is expensive but The Hermitage was reasonably priced as I recall. I seem to remember that our dinner bill was around £50/£60 for two with wine. I don't remember being shocked when paying... More
