Returned home last week from another wonderful 10 days at Ridley's Residence. what a great bloke Carey is. When we arrived he greeted us, and said ;use the stair lift for ur case dont break ur back carrying it upstairs. While we unloaded the car, he put the kettle on and took us in the lounge to drink it and chat....

I have just returned from yet another wonderful visit to Ridley's Residence, a lovely B&B where I have stayed many times over the last 10 years sometimes two or three times a year. I was astounded at the poor review posted in May 2016 by visitors who obviously have not discovered the unique qualities of this establishment and the kindness...

Me and my friend booked this Bed and Breakfast as a last minute booking. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner Cary. He was very welcoming and made us both a cup of tea. The room was nice and quite, however we did find the double bed quite small. In the morning we both had breakfast which was...

If u want brand new and clinically clean then this is not the place for you. This place is full of years of personal and eclectic items. The towels were clean but unmatching and the toilet looks like the original from when the house was built. Saying that we loved it! The owner Carey was a very lovely chap, extremely...

My family needed accommodation for 7 adults and 2 dogs and needed disabled access for a heavily disabled lady. Owner couldn't recommend this b&b enough assuring us there was a stair lift, disabled shower, toilet etc and he was very helpful offering us dinner when we arrived and breakfast for the following morning. We couldn't believe our luck!! We turned...

Several of us descend on Carey's campsite at least once a year and probably will until we retire, The wonderful Carey always greets us, towing a stack of wood on his adapted mobility scooter. If you're looking for a campsite where you don't have to abide by stuffy rules (within limits), and somewhere that you'll remember with jovial fondness, then...

We wer the only customers for the 2 days and had carey's undivided attention. Great men to talk to, friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable with t.v. shower and tea making . bed comfy. It was like spending a few days with an old mate. Lovely and well situated for bala and snowdonia.

We have stayed there for one night only, on the way back from Snowdon. Mr Carrey welcome us really warm- offered tea, coffe and cookies on arrival. when you choose that place do not expect it will be a palace- this house is a place with own history... I found out in our bedroom oldschool mini kettle!!! Was so proud...

Let me preface this review by stating that the owner, Carey, is a very affable character who was helpful and accommodating - you couldn’t wish for a more convivial host. This historic old vicarage is in a lovely rural location a few miles outside Bala. It has bags of potential, however, a word of warning, the accommodation is not for...
