My wife and I enjoyed our one night's stay in Gwesty Ty Newydd. Fabulous sea views from our room (the four poster bed room). Very spacious room, tastefully decorated. Just a few areas I think it could improve. 1. The mattress. Absolutely terrible night's sleep as a result. Felt cheap quality and lumpy. 2. Breakfast. Disappointing. Staff seemed miserable. The...

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Fab views from the terrace. Friendly staff and good food. Breakfasts individually cooked so much better than buffet style you usually get in hotels. Aberdaron is a beautiful place to stay and visit.

The perfect place for a break. The staff are amazing and friendly. The hotel room was fully accessible to my wife in her wheelchair and with a sea view to go with it. Ales and food really excellent. I wanted to stay there another night but was committed to be somewhere else and did not have the right excuse. Will...

Stayed at this hotel for a long weekend & will definitely go back. The hotel was clean, well kept & provided all facilities we needed. Staff were approachable & friendly but not too fussy. Had dinner in the hotel each evening - food was a little expensive for some budgets but very nicely presented & well cooked. Aberdaron as a...

Visit the pub every year when we stay at Aberdaron. The food is rather pricey, but good quality. We always visit the pub because of the friendly atmosphere, and because of the stunning views. Dogs are also allowed to sit outside on the balcony, and water is provided for them.

We stayed in room 7 was larger then expected. Nice spacious and great views. The food was good too (Steak) but maybe not a great deal of choice to my liking anyway. Staff pleasant and helpful. If they is one tiny criticism the glass in part of the window needed replacing as it was misted so could not see the...

We have just returned from an overnight stay in Room 1 (an absolute must if it's available). I just can't praise the hotel highly enough in every respect. It's clean, it's welcoming, the food is delicious, and the views from the rooms are stunning. I love this place and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone considering a...

Spent a few days on a touring site near to Aberdaron, came here for two meals. Really friendly and welcoming, dog friendly too; food was great both times and a good choice of local ales. Definitely recommended and a great location right on the beach. Ideal if walking the coastal path as well as access to many local camp sites.

Booked for a needed chill out and got just what was needed. Everything brilliant here. From Iain and Wilma to staff can't fault anything. Even the rain wasn't a problem I like watching the waves and listening to the rumble of the tides, fall asleep and wake up to it. Rooms, food, staff, atmosphere great. Bonus on Sat night was...

We managed to get a top floor sea view room which has great views of the beach and sea. Check in was handled very well. We had booked evening meal with a window table. On previous visits we have booked elsewhere for our evening meal because we have been disappointed with the meals we have had at the Ty Newydd....
