I was surprised to read reviews where persons had bad experiences or negative feelings about a stay at Village Cay. This was my first stay at Village Cay and I ended up returning to stay again. My husband was disabled and the housekeeping staff was very accomodating as we registered. They found a wheel chair for him to use and...

Thank you very much. It was a pleasure having you and your husband at our hotel during your visit to the Island. We have contacted the cable company and the problem with the spotty channel is now fixed. We look forward to have you see you soon. Regards, Maureen

We moved from Maria's by the Sea which was not a bad hotel just seemed like a mainstream Airport kind of hotel , no real character. The Village Cay was completely different with a very authentic Tortola type of feel. Big rooms and if you can get the one bedroom suite you will be pleasantly surprised. The rooms with a...

Spent 3 nights at this hotel in March 2017 while in Tortola on business. The staff were generally friendly, however, the room was shabby and the bathroom outdated and old. Additionally the hotel grounds needs a renovation as it may have once been nice but looks as if it has not been spruced up in a long time. Further, why was there...

Hello Rishi, Thank you for your letter and for staying with us at Village Cay. We are currently renovating our rooms. The rooms on the waterfront are completed and are quite comfortable. The other phase will be our standard. I do hope that when you return you will find them satisfactory. As for the chickens, they are indigenous to the...

We stayed at Village Cay the night before we began our charter sail. It was easy to get to from the ferry with a quick taxi ride. It is centrally located and close to many restaurants. We were there on a Sunday night, when everything is mostly closed, so we ate all our meals at the restaurant. The rooms were...

This isn't a five star hotel but I've given it a five because it's a place I would always stay. Even if I had a five star alternative. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Comfy beds and a view of the marina to die for when you wake up. Very central location and the staff are so so helpful. That...

Been here a couple of times and always had a meal and a few beers. The food is average with a decent selection of food. Staff pleasant but the service on the times we've been there was slow. Don't be in rush. Pleasant surroundings including the chickens. We enjoyed the times we visited the rest'nt/bar.

I was quite irritated by the fact that from 3 hours after making my reservation up to the day before I arrived, I found myself arguing over email with Village Cay about my reservation rate. Apparently they had not updated their website, and didn't want to honor the rate that I had a confirmation number for. Long story short, upon...

Village Cay is a regular place for me when I visit Tortola. I love their signature honey stung chicken, and on this occasion it was better than ever! The service can be a bit slow at times, but it was good on this occasion. I haven't stayed in the hotel itself. There is an outdoor pool and a spa, neither...

A well situated hotel only minutes walk from shopping and tourist areas, the hotel wifi was good but if the restaurant was busy it could be difficult to log on. Hotel food was okay but the laid back attitude of the staff was at times annoying. Reception was smooth and well managed, did not use other facilities so cannot comment

Made a last minute reservation and was able to get a room. I have to say the room was clean. The staff was friendly and the restaurant and bar had a lovely view of the marina and the food wasn't bad either. Golden cup is right next door and their breakfast are great. The wifi is weak in some areas...
