Color us intrigued by Mary's Boon. We had a long layover between Saba and stateside and decided to go spend some time on the beach and have lunch. Unfortunately we arrived at 11am and lunch isn't served until Noon (despite the pleading from our server to compromise with 11:30 lunch the chef was adamant), so we all had eggs benedict....

It's a ok place to stay as long as you know what room you booked. We booked a middle priced room for 1 night, and when we got there she was going to put us in a basement room, for a little under $200.00. So we had to pay just about $100.00 more to be ocean front.

Small and quirky hotel, we stayed here based on a few things, - Location to Simpson Bay - Beach Access/View - Price If your are looking for a fancy 4 or 5 star resort this isn't it, but if you are looking a comfortable room with easy access to the beach and a base to visit the island without breaking...

If you like the sound of waves, live music and great food this is the place for you. Service can be iffy but worth it. Small resort not far from airport. You can also opt to eat right in the sand. The wine selection is good and not too exoensive.

We stayed here for 2 nights in a lower level room. We kind of knew what to expect from the reviews and the description of the room. The room itself was fine, yes it's darker and does need some updating, but it was still comfortable. The hotel has a great location and the beach can't be beat. It's quiet and...

I want to thank you for your visit and your review which I think is pretty fair. I do agree some of the other reviews really blast the lower lobby rooms but really that are not that bad for the price which is very good for a beach front Caribbean Hotel. I do agree the housekeepers need to do a...

We booked a beachfront king bed studio on the ground floor. The room was spacious with a back door opening onto the garden and a front door which opened onto our own private elevated deck which was complete with a table and two chairs. We spent countless hours sitting on that deck enjoying the sounds and sights of this excellent...

Thanks for your visit and kind words about that staff and visit. As you have noted their are some things we need to work on to improve the rooms and have already started doing that and which most are pretty easy to resolve. The housekeepers do have new linens and towels and why the choose to use the older ones...

Stayed here for 3 nights with partner in March. We have a beach view room on 2nd floor with large balcony - perfect !!! Room was large and airy with loads of storage space, kitchen facilities and decent bathroom. Friends paid the same for a smaller room on ground floor so definitely ask for room with sea view on 2nd...

My husband and I recently booked a room at Mary's Boon thru Expedia. We were in need of one night stay before a week stay at another resort. Mary's Boon is very convenient to the airport and a Beautiful Ocean front Hotel. I was though, very shocked at the room we were given. The room was located in the basement...

Thank you for your visit and comments about your stay. Yes the lower lobby rooms are not perfect in many ways and I do tend to agree with you that at times it smell a bit musty. We have ordered a dehumidifier that will cut down on that. Most of the complaints we get are about those rooms which normally...

First time visit. Quaint little hotel. Was first stuck in a basement room that smelled so much of cleaning supplies I felt sick. I had to upgrade because although I thought I was booking a room with a full fridge I didn't get one. A considerable cost for a full size fridge was added on. The location to the beach...

I want to thank you for your visit and your thoughts. I do understand your issues and we are working a taking care of what we have control over. Again as we have said, the lower rooms are the most budget rooms so they do get booked a lot mostly for one night visits. I do agree its time to...
