It's pretty cheap and cheerful and for the price I'll probably stay again but it is certainly is not a high end hotel but for the price all good! The only reason its got 3 rather than 4 stars from me is the pool wasn't open and the Wifi didn't reach the room I was given. It was also a... More

We arrived in St. Maarten 3 days before our cruise and decided to stay on the French side. We were very happy with our decision. St. Martin is quieter and not as touristy as St. Maarten. They use Euros however will take American. The Fantastic Guest House looked a little scary when driving up to it. Room was very basic... More

I stayed here for one night en-route to st kitts as it was close to the airport and cheap! I knew it was going to be very basic but as I arrived after 10pm, (they'd arranged a taxi pick up for me and for my return the following morning at 6am) I just needed a place to sleep. It's a... More

When first arrived we were happy with our room and the location of the guesthouse (you get what you pay for). Therefore we also decided to stay two more nights, though during the stay of one day this changed. After coming back from dinner we found several ants around the fridge and when we was about to sleep there were... More

Stayed here one night after visiting other islands and before flight home. Had already been to the area as previously stayed on St Martin. No, it doesn't look the prettiest but don't let that put you off. The local folk are friendly and helpful. I wouldn't go out after dark anywhere in the world flashing the cash etc so sensible... The Fantastic Guest House is located in Marigot just a few blocks from the Port and very nice shopping and restaurants. The Fantastic Guest House is not located in a high end section of Marigot, and the Fantastic Guest House dose not have high end amenities. But it is, exactly what we were looking for on St Maarten, clean accommodations,... More

This guest house is right in the heart of the city. Parking is crazy. Beautiful view but I wouldn't recommend it for families. Ok for a couple that may be running around all day and just needs a place to sleep.

It's close to the ferry terminal. It's close to a lot of restaurants/night life. It has air conditioning and a good sized fridge. It's 55 euros...in high season...in the Caribbean. It's 100% the place I wanted for my entire vacation. Ten years ago. Now, it is my one night stand during my travel day while I await my real vacation... More

I’ve visited St. Martin twice before; its major function this trip was as a jumping off place to visit three of the near-by islands I had not previously visited. I spent five nights at the Fantastic Guest House in the small town of Marigot. While not terribly attractive from the outside, the room was quite acceptable and adequately equipped, the... More

The hotel is very basic but the price was right and the room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There's a huge deck looking over the water and a swimming pool. It's a great deal for a few nights. The neighborhood is may look a little sketchy but we felt safe.
