Ladera is a top rated resort on the picturesque island of Saint Lucia in the far eastern Caribbean. As resorts in the Caribbean go, it is outstanding. A quiet, unique, tranquil experience 2000 feet above the Soufriere Bay overlooking the two magnificent Pitons, the rooms...More
We spent a couple of nights at Ladera recently to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary, having originally spent our honeymoon on St Lucia. Despite a dreadful journey from Barbados on LIAT (a four hour delay living up to it's reputation of 'Leave Island Any Time'),...More

It really depends on the room that you're in. Each room has a different layout. The best thing to do is to call and discuss what you want so they can suggest which room to book. During our stay we looked at several different suite options. Our bathroom had a door and walls on all sides, but there was no ceiling. It's an open air bathroom. You can't see in, but you can hear. Other rooms that we visited had open showers.
Given that their customer service is impeccable, you could easily call and discuss your preferences. They will do what they can to accommodate you.
