This is not a typical Caribbean resort...it's better! I booked this vacation 6 months in advance and checked Trip Advisor ratings often. Most were great reviews, some were surprisingly bad. I will write a very accurate review. We did the Early Bird's Total Romance Package....More

We stayed at a mountaintop Villa owned by Anse Chastanet Resort and it was $400/night for a minimum of 5 nights, and did not have an all inclusive option. We rented a 4 wheel drive car to provide our own transportation. We did have access to the Resort's amenities because we were renting a Resort owned house. It is my understanding the Resort offers a limited food all inclusive, and, a beverage all inclusive, and a minimum 4 night stay, as well as shuttle service. Due to our drinking and eating habits, I would not opt for an all inclusive option that was above $150/person per day. I had checked with the 3 Sandals Resorts earlier in my search and their 4 night packages added $2,000 per couple for all inclusive food & beverages. This Resort is very well run and somewhat quieter because they limit ages of children and seem to discourage the raucous party crowds or spring breakers.
