Arrived November 29, 2014 for 7 beautiful days at the Calabash Cove, Saint Lucia. We opt'd for the all-inclusive and it was worth it. The room we stayed in was the Swim Up Suite and it was beautiful. After a long ride from the airport, we pulled up at Calabash Cove's lobby at sunset and was greeted by Anetia with...

Our second visit to this hotel, just gets better. The wonderful room, clean sandy and private beach, delectable food served in a wonderfully open restaurant overlooking the ocean with views toward the capital with the twinkling lights. The staff are great, always prepared to go the extra mile with a smile, humour bursting forth and a willingness to help, all...

Calabash Cove was exactly what my husband and I were looking for! The resort is absolutely beautiful and the staff was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the swim up bar and really just the serenity of the entire resort. Wet met some wonderful people from Seattle, Boston, London and so on, but it was also very easy to just spend quiet...

We stayed 4 nights in the Calabash Cove. The room was probably one of the best I have ever stayed in. Really high ceiling, beautiful view, nice furniture, large balcony. The room had a Jacuzzi that we didn't really enjoy mainly because it made a lot of noise (hard to relax when the engine sound is so loud) and the...

Drop dead gorgeous view and food prepared to a high standard. Great food, nice wine selection and very good service. This was a repeat visit for us and we were not disappointed. The road in is a little rough.

We stayed in a water's edge cottage and did the all-inclusive option. Here is my list of pro's and con's: Pros: 1.) The Staff here is amazing... From Rohan, to Kris and Bobby at the restaurant, to Elder, Justin, and Alban in gardening, these are the kindest, and most accommodating people I have come across. 2.) The restaurant here is...

Ste Lucia La Belle Hélène We visited St Lucia between 26/01 to 02/02/2015 and stayed at Calabash in the north west of the Island in one of their Water's edge Cottages (no 5). I won't mention the road leading to the resort, except to say that it is as bad if not worse than we were lead to expect from...

Just returned from spending a few nights in St. Lucia. After reading most of the reviews we decided on renting one of the sunset suites. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Tucked away on gently sloping, tropical beachfront on the northwest coast of the island, Calabash Cove is one of just a select few five-star resorts on St. Lucia. Nestled in the sheltered bay of Bonaire Estate, Calabash Cove is perched on a hillside sloping gently towards the Caribbean Sea, where cool ocean breezes provide a wonderful respite and the turquoise sea is offset by the vibrant green of tropical vegetation and views of Walcott Island. A private beach and nearby coral reef provide the perfect place to rest, reflect and dream. The resort has been designed with great care to complement and exist in harmony with the beauty of the natural surroundings. The main buildings of the hotel, such as the lobby, restaurant, bar, sanctuary, and infinity pool with waterfall lie on a slope, with the villas in the midst of lush vegetation perfectly situated to view nightly sunsets. The natural elements of earth, wind, light and water are represented in the exotic wood, stone and natural materials used in the composition of the buildings. The peaceful and tranquil gardens, under the care of one of the finest landscape architects in the Caribbean, have been created to capture and optimize the natural splendor of the area and are filled with vibrant, fragrant flowers set amid groves of trees. ... more   less
