My wife and I have just visited the Bel Jou for the third time, having previously visited in 2011 and 2012. The previous visits were both extremely good but I have to say that this one was even better. The hotel had a nice freshly painted exterior there were more sun umbrellas and the gardens had been given a facelift....

This was our first experience of a Saga holiday but after this we will certainly look at others. Fabulous food, great accommodation and the staff could not do enough for you. We even learnt to play croquet!

Writing this whilst still here. There's nothing to fault and some people gotta find fault and moan for moans sake. This is our second visit in 2 years and if anything much has improved by Camilla,Navin and staff. Only just recently the outside of the main building has been painted and varnished. New seating and fabrics around the pool area....

We had a lovely holiday in St Lucia staying at a Saga Hotel. The food was very good and plenty of it. Our room was lovely with a view over the gardens. In fact all the rooms had garden and sea views. Just like paradise! The only drawback was that the hotel was situated on the top of a very...

my father and i just got back from the bel jou went for two weeks, 17/6/2014 to 1/7/2014, we were really dissappointed as we had read so many good reports, we found that their was not a very good selection of food on the salad bar at any meal time or any selection on yogurts/fruit at breakfast, the lunch and...

I had a thorough tour round this hotel while in St.Lucia and would just say it is not the side of the island I would want to stay. Think Saga have bought a white elephant as the building is very old and you are virtually cut off from the tourist areas. However, to each his own, but would not stay...

The hotel is on the hill and the drive up to it is a wee bit hairy but once in the hotel reception you forget all about that. The restaurant is just by the reception and we were given a light breakfast as we had an early start. Lovely fresh fruit and croissant with choice of coffees or teas. Elizabeth,...

Just returned from 10day holiday at the Bel Jou, had a great time. Used Saga's door to door service to the UK airport & return, great as I live over 200 miles away. The hotel is excellently run, large bedrooms, well maintained grounds and facilities. Food buffet style most of the week with a good choice and variety. All the...
