Stayed in early September when most of the nice hotels are closed. The hotel is on a 3rd floor so be prepare to go up escalators without elevator. Room is clean but with outdated furniture. Very basic do not expect any amenity not luxury. Hot water, and AC and mini fridge working properly. Bed was ok. With a little vision... More

Stinks. Window opens to hallway. No hot water. Dirty toilet paper in toilet. Room is clean but the rest of the hotel is really not. Wifi does not reach room. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was ok, nice view from terrace.

Had a night in the sunset hotel prior to checking into our villa for the week. The place was situated in a great location in Gustavia right on the marina. This was great as we were participating in Les Voiles de St Barts so our boat was close. The hotel room was a simple 2 single bed room, had wifi... More

The Sunset continues to excel at basic accommodation on an island with constantly upward spiraling prices. The rooms and the furnishings are not super high end, but they are fresh, clean and well-maintained. Breakfast is served, French style, on the common terrace or right in front of the rooms. The location is right on the main drag, directly across from... More

If you want to stay in St Barts on a relatively cheap budget, this is a great choice. It's right across the street from the ferry terminal, close to shops and restaurants. There is a nice open terrace to watch the street. Friendly staff. We slept on the non street side of the hotel, it was nice and quiet. Only... More

We stayed at the Sunset hotel for two nights while waiting for our villa to be ready. It is the least expensive choice on St. Barths but the value for the money is very high. Although our room did not have a view, as some do, it was fine as we were only there for a couple of nights. The... More

Our room was so small we could barely move. No place for suitcases so we were tripping over them to move around. Bathroom was tiny. Beds were uncomfortable. Lobby was nice and we did have much needed air conditioning. Location was nice and view from terrace was lovely. But room was so uncomfortable and cramped I would never stay again.... More

If you like being in the middle of it all this is a perfect Hotel for you. If you book a room on the water front then you will be awoke by the morning traffic that starts at 7 am sharp. If you opt for the back side rooms then you will able to sleep in a bit. The rooms... More
