Let's start with the hosts. Oh my God!!! They are really welcoming. They make you feel like old time friends. Maria gave us help on booking a biobay trip and called for us to get a car while Joseph was making us a shake and had us taste it, just like that for no reason (all this before check in,...

We rented 4 rooms for 11 guests from Tropical Guest House. For the price, the rooms were great. We don't go on vacation to sit inside the hotel room, so it definitely met our needs. For other people who value a 48" TV with DVD & standard cable stations, his and her sinks and jacuzzi, this place probably isn't for...

We stayed here for 2 nights in June and had an absolutely fantastic time, and a huge part of that was our hosts at Tropical Guesthouse. The owners, Joe and Maria, and the entire staff are some of the warmest, most friendly people I've ever met. We definitely felt like guests welcomed into someone's home rather than customers at a...

Maria and Joe are the couple that runs and owns this guest house and we have never met more welcoming and more caring hosts. Maria organized for the car rental to pick us up...

We spent one night at the Tropical Guest House so we could take a Bio Bay tour. Maria and her husband treated us like we were one of the family. They were so nice and so very helpful with anything we needed. They serve a delicious breakfast, not included in the room price, but very reasonable. The room was basic,...

If you've never stayed in a "guest house" before you need to know what to expect. This one has small concrete rooms with a private bathroom, a bed, a small TV, an AC unit in the window and THAT IS IT. No carpet, no desks, no nightstands, ice machines, etc... It was perfect for me because the staff was very...
