I hate to leave a bad review but I feel obligated to warn anybody else planning to stay here. Here's the good: Acacia guesthouse looked very comfortable and relatively clean. It was a bit off the main strip of Esperanza but appeared relatively safe and the property manager Isabel was very helpful in recommending beaches and lending towels and chairs...

Acacia Guesthouse takes reviews VERY seriously. It is our commitment to provide clean and comfortable accommodations at a reasonable price, while offering personalized service. We have been known to go out to dinner, the beach, and festivals with our guests. Many of our guests become friends and often return throughout the years. Regarding this specific incident we want all future...

This was a place to sleep at since the whole time we were there we were out and about. Only came to take a shower after visiting the beautiful beaches and to sleep after dinner. Our first impressions were worried sum due to neighbors had so much garbage, old furniture and junk in the surrounding neighbors front yards. The house...

First of all i wanna thanks Isabel for been so available if we needed something or had some kind of problem. There's 3 units but i think the only one who had ac in the first floor. Honestly i was a little concerned but after being in the third floor at nite the unit had two giant roof fans that...

First of all. The description is misleading, it says it has an ocean view and air conditioning. I feel like you can barely call it an ocean view, because it is so far away, but it is neat being so high up. The listing says it has air conditioning, but when you select the unit, they have individual descriptions. Ours...

You won't regret a bit. Isabel was amazing. I explained to her my situation about my boyfriend and me arriving since 4am, the check-in was at 4pm but they told I could be there at 2:30pm, so they listen to your worries. The place was very clean, everything was in place and it had a small kitchen for those who...

We stayed for 3 days and the experience was perfect. Clean simple rooms, nice functional kitchen, lots of air and light, wonder deck and a patio, excellent views from the terrace where we enjoyed drinks while watching the sunset and close to everything. Isabelle was amazing and Shawn went above and beyond to make sure our visit was perfect. Beaches...

We booked the Acacia Guesthouse due to the excellent reviews. What we didn't realize is that the reviews were written before the place was sold to new owners (in approximately March 2016). Jose is no longer the manager of the property. On the positive side, our apartment was clean, the a/c worked, the bed was comfortable, and there is a...

We only stayed one night, got a third floor suite with kitchen, living room, spacious bathroom and bedroom. Lots of fans, plenty of breeze, super comfy bed, we slept like rocks! Walking distance to Esperanza where all the restaurants are but far enough to enjoy complete silence and peace!

3 Stars for the rooms and +1 Star for Shawn. Rooms are spic and span. No complaints at all. If you are not a morning person I suggest take the end-room on the second floor (where the sunrays probably won't wake you up). Shawn helped me throughout over the phone to chalk out my plan in Vieques. He made very...

“The Orquidea unit was very comfortable, but the bathroom is small. There is a nice sized armoire in the room which is helpful for storing your sundries, etc. so the bathroom doesn't become cluttered. Make a point of checking out the rooftop deck for sunset - so worth it!”
